Since my ancesdtors hail from Kilmarnock, Scotland I have to go with lowland Scotts. ala Sean Connery. My ex-sub could listen to him read the New York phone books. Follow that with Maureen O'Hara's Irish in the "Quiet Man" I spent 10 days in Scotland about 5 years ago. Glaswegians [from Glasgow] speak an accent all their own and is much harder to understand to the untrained ear but fun to isten to.

My boy is going to kill me. He's from Liverpool, but I voted for Leeds and North East. [:)] I LOVE his accent though. I generally prefer the Northern accents overall, and anything besides the typical BBC accent turns me on.

Yerp. Me too. I'm not sure which I find the nicest. I like lots of them if the english is spoken properly. I find * innit* and dunnit unattractive in any accent....lol Brummy is probably the one I like the least though. agirl

um there's a bit of a difference between Edinburgh & Glasgow accent but both of those would be in your lowland catergory would they not? Anyway, I vote Fife [:D]

My girl, apb, was born in Birmingham. She has the sexiest accent I have ever heard. It was the very first time that an accent turned me on! And endless hours of entertainment as well.
