The Welsh are British (whereas the Irish are not). To be fair, most English, Scots or Welsh don't give a flying one about the term British. There's a political edge to it but I'll spare everyone the lurid political details on this particular thread.

Where's the US version? New York would get my vote. I used to have a chat now and again with this girl from New York in a political chat room - what a voice/accent she has :-) "Hi, my name's Max..........and when they met it was moider!" Great accent.

Cruel words for our brethren from brummegen. Personally, I've always liked the Brummie accent. Working-class, down-to-earth, no problems here.
