I've had a myspace account and group for awhile. It's actually quite good for sub guys to network with vanilla women who may not be in the scene but still find it "neat" on some level to have a guy wait on them.

oooh myspace. perfect place to fall in love with a 13 year old kid. oh and they'll have 6 years experience in the lifestyel, and are a master of their craft! LOL!

SolangeRichards -> RE: My Space or? (11/14/2006 5:48:45 AM)

I've had a myspace profile for some time and I've enjoyed it.  There are loads of fetish and pinup models there as well as photographers showing their work, artists and just some very nice people.  Many people there are very well known and very approachable when it's done in a sensible manner.  It's been a nice way of making contact with folks who I share some common interests with.  I don't have a BDSM oriented page there, but I get loads of mail (far more than here) from sub males, which isn't my interest on any site, but I figure hey, at least someone is responding.  Some of the mail I get is very humorous and on occasion I have blogged on some of the more insane letters!

I do blog, and I dual post at alt and bondage under the name 'solange2004'.  I used to put the blogs on myspace as well, but had very few readers and no responses.  I write for me, but post for you so to speak, so comments from readers are as much  fun as the blog writing is.  My highest readership is at bondage but my highest amount of comment writers are at alt.  I pretty much write on general thoughts rather than sexual, or BDSM or transgender themes...

I would blog here if they had a separate area for blogs.  Well, maybe they do and I just don't know where it is.  I know I could post them as journals but I just like the separate blog area format.

I just recently set up a MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter if anyone is interested.

Myspace is at myspace.com/thetammyjo

DelilahDeb -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 5:56:28 PM)

No to myspace. Was once given a link to a witchy friend's page, gritted teeth and signed up when the site forced me to sign up in order to view the page…and promptly cancelled the signup when it turned out I couldn't even view the page on my Mac. Bah and likewise humbug to myspace.

But I am enojying FetLife…the social utility "by kinksters for kinksters".

DominaSusan -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 6:18:29 PM)

I can barely keep up with this blog. I have no presence on MySpace and no interest in existing virtually. This is about as much as I can handle and Live Space much better than MySpace.

Steponme73 -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 6:23:31 PM)

Never have been to myspace or any other blog like that.  I guess I am "over" the hill!

MistressDaraine -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 8:32:28 PM)

Let's see - I have MySpace for vanilla life - my mom and family, as well as friends who aren't aware I'm a domme use it to see what I'm up to.  I actually had to put a note on it, before I made it private, stating that I'm not looking for BDSM hookups because it was making my mom nervous how many "weird" comments I got before I could delete them.
I am also on FetLife (just signed up, same screen name) and mydommespace.com and I blog there.  I'm putting together a website, and I'll have a blog on there.  I've actually already set it up.
Lastly, I have 2 Twitters - a vanilla and one for my BDSM contacts.   I can get on Twitter on my phone at work so I can update it easily.  It's great for making sessions for online.
I love the computer, can you tell?  LOL

slaveboy291 -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 9:25:09 PM)

I set up a Myspace just for kicks.  It's got nothing at the moment though since I just started it.

MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: My Space or? (12/9/2008 9:32:55 PM)

I saw the Myspace, and Had to say that I have one.  I'm not a mistress, but I do have one! lol I love it.  I have alll kinds of pics on there.  Have made a couple friends too.  I also Have a facebook account. ::Shrug:: I guess I'm still stuck with the idea that I'm a 15 year old school girl! lmao.

littlesarbonn -> RE: My Space or? (12/10/2008 8:21:48 AM)

I have a blog, myspace and facebook. I find myself paying more attention to my facebook stuff than anything else. I also import all of my blogs directly into my facebook notes, so my friends are able to keep up with me by just looking for any updates. If anyone wants my contact info to send an invite (mainly facebook as I rarely even check myspace anymore), send me a message here, or if you can figure out how, send me an invite there. :)

I am on Fetlife, a very little.  I just don't have the time to maintain a blog or webpage.

E2Sweet -> RE: My Space or? (12/10/2008 2:56:28 PM)

I'm on Fetlife. I don't care for Myspace. There's way too many useless bell and whistles as your page fills with fluff...[:'(]

mummyman321 -> RE: My Space or? (12/10/2008 3:40:18 PM)

No Facebook, but I am probably of the older generation. I do not have time to waste sitting around writing blogs. There are so many more useful things to do with my time.

HA! It wasn't but a few months ago in the NY Times that I read the greatest/funniest of all hell quotes demagoguing bloggers :

 '' Bloggers are filth. They need to be destroyed. Blogging gives the illusion of participation to a bunch of retards. . . . We need to put these people in the oven! ''

I don't use Myspace, I don't like the interface.

I run two journals on Livejournal, one which I use as a fic archive, and do political blogging at Daily Kos, and religious blogging at Street Prophets. I'm rather conservative; when I find something I like, I tend to stick with it, and I like the LJ interface and I'm now used to it, so unless LJ blows up or starts charging insanely for it, I will be there.

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: My Space or? (12/12/2008 5:23:46 AM)

you can find me on myspace under my real name however it's solely used for interacting with bands/promoters & management/fans

i'm also found on reverbnation - same thing as my myspace profile.

I don't plan on using MySpace or Facebook that much beyond being pointers to my LJ -- I have two LJs but only one might interest you all since I post first drafts of new fiction I'm working on in hopes of getting feedback.
