Let me just be the first to say...(and frankly....I've wanted to say it for a while....)...but anyway....

    I will put the toilet seat back down if you will return the drivers seat to where I had it.  Your butt stays dry and I don't bash my knee on the steering wheel.

What amuses me about both of these paradigms and the issues caused.

1)  Falling into the toilet at 3am because the man left the seat up

or

2) Bonking one's knees on the steering wheel because the shorter one in the relationship left the seat pulled forward.

Are both classic examples of people who want to make other people responsible for the issues caused when the person is not willing to pay attention to their own surroundings.

I put the seat down because I enjoy being nice and polite.  I check to make sure my car seat has not been moved before I get into it.

For me, it is one way that I can Dominantly stand forth and control my universe.

Just me, etc.

I always check the toilet seat... and you're a guy. I don't expect much.  *sarcastic humour, for those easily offended*
 
As for the drivers seat (ignoring the fact that I'm the driver), I'm 5'7" with bare feet. Add heels, and I'm not far from your height... and most of mine is leg... so I fail to see how you could be bumping your knees on my steering wheel.
