WOW! I am truly amazed. I have read lots of articles by Dommes. I always found that Dianna Vesta was one of the brightest Ladies of the BDSM lifestyle. But yesterday I contacted (theguidegoddess) and I almost fell of my chair by the way she replied to me. This woman has so much wisdom, that I truly thought I was chatting with OPRAH.

Yup - the woman is impressive.  I've only met her briefly a few times and never had a chance to chat with her, but from what I've seen, she's earned the reputation she has - she's one of The Good Ones.

Oprah?  We may not agree on that one - but your kink is okay. [;)]

I know it's kinda off topic, but I was thinking about the references to incoherancy and was about to add my own, considering I'm a little nauseous and whatnot.

But then I burped, and all of a sudden I felt better.

Did you feel the spirit of Oprah near??

popeye1250 -> RE: Bless my soul (11/13/2006 11:21:11 AM)

If I was considered to be a wise person by many people I don't think I'd want to be compared to Oprah.
That's like saying to someone; "You're as smart as George Bush or John Kerry."

I'm starting to wonder why the hell I ever thought this movie was scary.

theGuideGoddess -> RE: Bless my soul (11/17/2006 8:58:05 PM)

It is interesting to observe the depth and astuteness abounding in the individuals here.  To think that I had heard somewhere that those in the life style were open minded. Apparently some are so open minded as to allow their intelligence to flow completely out.  If one even bothered to LOOK one MIGHT be able to see how the poster is posting their first post or their six thousandth post here.  But……….THAT might be expecting just too much mightn’t it?  Some posts here remind me of children who haven't listened and are raising their hands to give uneducated and unresearched answers.

Thank you marineusdept for your compliments.  I am pleased to be likened to Oprah...and I would be really pleased to be likened to her money.  George Bush?  THe puppet dictator?  The one who is driving us to financal ruin as a country??  Maybe George is just a sub and the lovely Librarian Barbara wields a whip in the night?  Anyway how did those two get in here??? I very much agree with and enjoy Diana Vesta and her thoughts.  Refined when applied real time?  Like a potter molding the mind, include the flesh it is just more sublime.

I think you're putting your expectations -way- too high for a farking online forum.

And taking some of the people here -way- too seriously.

And I just wanted to say way another time.  So, yeah, I'm like, -way- serious.  [:D]

*edited to add*

I'm retarded and forgot to hit the reply button. So yeah, that was for the miss above Magiksslave.

mistoferin -> RE: Bless my soul (12/5/2006 4:02:19 PM)

Let me get this right...you're the guidegoddess....and you were keeping in touch with yourself....and sending yourself links...

Wow...my head hurts

LadyEllen -> RE: Bless my soul (12/5/2006 4:20:22 PM)

Some thoughts;

If LaT is getting a throne, then I want one too; lots of gold and stuff, and size 12 (though it should be marked with size 10, OK? - thats UK sizes!). I want one, and I'll scream and scream and scream until I'm sick if you dont get me one now!

The support group for incoherent posters; I would like to join, and I nominate Ron (Mnottertail) as President - truly the most incoherent poster here, who yet makes sense - a true art, possible only to appreciate through a five year apprenticeship as cryptic crossword compiler for The Times newspaper.

Oprah - I'm sure she's a lovely woman. However, I tend to agree with some here, that any impression of wisdom on her part is more likely down to a lack of wisdom in those drawing such an impression.

Seriousness in posts - some threads are serious, some are not and some are neutral. Serious threads require serious, well considered contributions -being daft in such threads is daft. Threads which are not serious require less than serious contributions - being serious in such threads is daft. Neutral threads are a free for all and any contribution can be considered serious or daft as the case may be. It is sometimes helpful, in deciding the status of a thread, to drink a half bottle of whisky (as I am doing now) before reading/posting.

E

PS - I am drunk. Does it show? Whaddya mean its no different to when I'm sober!? Wanna fight? nah.... youre me best pal you are...... etc

Aine -> RE: Bless my soul (12/5/2006 4:24:35 PM)

Ooohh, I've got a full bar and some beer in the fridge...I think I might be chowing on ribs and beer in a bit *grins*

Homemade too...the boy is a fantastic cook.

gooddogbenji -> RE: Bless my soul (12/5/2006 4:35:09 PM)

I gotta say, font 32 and insulting the general community puts you on par with many famous people, such as Mel Gibson, Kramer, and Martha Stewart.

And yes, I'll be the jester for any queen.

Yours,

benji

LadyEllen -> RE: Bless my soul (12/5/2006 4:38:04 PM)

Oh no! Who woke Benji!?

Now the fun will start. And I'm drunk - which doubles the fun!

Until tomorrow at least
