 39 THINGS YOU SHOULD'VE LEARNT BY NOW
              1. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and alaxative on the same night.              2. Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it veryoften.              3. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore thanstanding in a garage makes you a car.              4. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.              5. If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you'venever tried before.              6. My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.              7. Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life isserious.              8. It is easier to get forgiveness than permission.              9. For every action, there is an equal and opposite governmentprogram.              10. If you look like your passport picture, you probably needthe trip.              11. Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed ofcheques.              12. A conscience is what hurts when all of your other partsfeel so good.              13. Eat well, stay fit, die anyway.              14. Men are from earth. Women are from earth. Deal with it.              15. No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes.              16. A balanced diet is a beer in each hand.              17. Middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness ofthe waist change places.              18. Ya know, that's one I've never figured out.  That whole clock thing.

The official logic is (I'm told) that, if you move the clocks back, you get another hour of daylight (ergo, more work is done during winter hours, we're more productive etc. because it's still light out).

It always seemed to me if that was a problem, we could all simply get up a smidge earlier instead of screwing up the entire planets airline schedules.

Actually ... it's when you move the clocks forward in the Spring ... that you get the extra hour of daylight. (if the clock says 1 hr later than it is ... then you get up earlier & have more daylight to work in the summer)

When you move the clocks back in the fall, you go back to regular time.

And, I agree ... why not just get your ass outta bed earlier?
