I have been away for a year, delivering a sailboat from the Tampa area to Trinidad. It didn't take a year but I took some time to contemplate my belly button and to consider if this lifestyle was really for me. Well I had a great time and I'm now back in the area and I really missed the people and the true enjoment of BDSM. So now that I'm back does anyone have any suggestions on how to get back into the swing of things? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Depends on what you mean by "back in the swing of things". i don't want to second guess you, but if you mean meet someone to be with in a D/s relationship then take it slowly, don't rush things, join local groups, attend meetings, munches etc. Make friends and get to understand what it is you are looking for and be patient and realistic in your expectations of others.

Did you have contact with groups and bdsm'ers before you went away for a year? Are you able to get back into contact with some of those people? Munches are great if they are your thing. Good old google will probably also help you to locate groups near you. All the best
