If I feel I've done someone else wrong by word or action, I'll apologize for it. If I don't, I won't. Sincere apologies should come from the heart or they have no meaning. Better to say nothing at all than fake an apology to someone. Celeste

If I've goofed, I admit it. If I've unintentionally caused hurt feelings/misunderstanding, then I'll appologize (but not always... some people are just dinks or can't understand humour. No amount of appologies will fix that, and it's not my fault, so not my problem). Otherwise, no.

If I was in the wrong, then yes I will apologize. If not, I won't. As others have already said, the apology should be "from the heart" or its meaningless. However, I also believe in respect whether its towards another Domme or anyone else in the lifestyle.

I would and I have if warranted. . If at any time I can feel or the person indicates to me in some way that I've harmed them, I would apolagize, unless I have a good reason for not doing so. Rosa

I have been known to appologise for upsetting someone - that does not mean that I'm sorry for what was said/done, but if it was something that I didn't feel would upset someone, and it did, I will say that I'm sorry for the hurt/upset feelings. That is totally appropriate, in my opinion.

I will admit and apologize if I mess up and say the wrong thing. I am a bit stubborn, though I will apologize. If I feel/know I'm right, then hell no! I wouldn't say sorry for being myself and speaking my mind and how I feel. mistress engel

We can not always know or control how others will perceive what we say especially online. Where all we have to go on is written word. However, if someone tells me they where offended by something I said I will apologize for offending them. IF my tongue simply gets away from me, or I allow my tempter to control me thus making me overly sarcastic, rude, or offensive I will ALWAYS apologize. Though I NEVER apologize for expressing my views or opinions espeically within online forums or chat rooms. Edited to add: I have learned the hard way it not always what you say but how you say it.

Regardless of if it's a chat room or in real life, people, regardless of their self-proclaimed title, are deserving to be treated with dignity and respect until THEY consent to be treated otherwise.

The only time I will not apologize is when I feel it will diminish me to do so. I have no problem apologizing when it is deserved, warranted, or even just convenient.

Even with that explanation, I'm missing what you're trying to say. It's ok, though...not worth anymore deliberations. I've been up all night working on a case, so I might be a wee bit dense in the comprehension department.
