Malcolm I don't know of a single place where I would say you CAN'T do fireplay. A bald friend has had his scalp lit on fire as a party trick (I hear it was quite the ice breaker!) and one of my favorite things is what I call "piggie candles" i.e. lighting the toes on fire (I love how the flames lick along my toe tips!). While I'm not too nuts about the smell of singeing hair, singing hair and open wounds would be your prime concerns for fire play. I have hair down to my ass, so I am careful to put it up before I light anyone else, or get lit on fire. But other than the hair on my head (eyebrows and the ass length stuff) I don't worry very much about fire anywhere else. I can't say that I've ever had it in my armpits, but I think I've had almost every other inch of skin flaming at one time or another. Please be careful in your experimentation. Some things seem like great "fuel" for fire play and it turns out they can be horrible and once gotten out of hand can leave really bad burns and scarring. If you are at all able to see any of her presentations, Bridget Harrington is in Australia this month, and she might be able to tell you abit about fire play or help put you in touch with others that could mentor you. ~Ms. Elorin
