I'm wondering about the possibility of feeding (liquid) thru inflateble gags with a breathing tube.  What i'm concerned is the possibility of swallowing etc.
Has anyone experience with this?

All the ones that I have seen they will not be able to swallow so if you are not wanting to kill them I would stay away from this.

I hate gags, period, end of story. Nope don't like them
they get in the way of things I'd rather do.

A feeding tube, to be used safely, should pass all the way down into the duodenum.
A breathing tube, in this case, most likely does not go past the oropharynx.
You would probably be infusing the liquid feeding directly into the lungs, which, for various reasons, is not a good idea.

You have no other avenue of exit for the fluids -- it either goes down the esophagus or into your lungs.  That's a good way to cause an obstruction or an aspiration pneumonia.  I would strongly advise against it.

Both Fetters and Erosboutique advertise inflatable gags with breathing tube as a possibility to feeding thru the air pipe in the gag.  Seems I will have to go into my own research into this matter.

If the breathing tube is the person's only air supply, I don't like the idea of blocking it with liquid at all.  A need to inhale at the wrong time could very easily lead to choking and inhaling liquid.  If the subject's nose were also clear, then a tube in a gag could probably be safely used for liquids... HOWEVER, I'd still only consider it safe if the gag wearer were permitted to suck the liquid through the tube at their own pace.  He/she is still in far too vulnerable a position to attempt anything foolish like force-feeding.

As a final thought, you might consider replacing the buckles or ties on your gag with Velcro.  Sure, it's less 'hardcore,' but the gag is probably the piece of apparatus you're most going to want to remove quickly in an emergency.

An alternative to feeding the liquid down the breathing tube would be to add an additional tube just for liquids. A naso-gastric tube (see medical play) could be inserted through the nostral, down the back of the throat directly into the stomach. Once in place liquids can be poured into the tube with less chance of aspiration. Keep in mind that no technique is fool poof as even a tube inserted in such a manner can still produce vomiting if enough liquid is instilled. If the submissive enjoys medical play, the gagging along with binding produces a scene pleasing to both Dominant and submissive; well maybe the Dominant enjoys it a little better.

Let me add the obvious caveat here...

Placing a naso-gastric tube doesn't sound like something an amateur should be trying.  If you don't have formal medical training, you'll need to get instruction from someone who does before attempting it.  Thankfully, there are enough kinky doctors, RNs, and so forth out there, that skills like these do get passed into the scene.

I agree. There are so many BETTER things you can put in a mouth :)

i have been fed thru an inflatible gag breathing tube... the inflatable gag had to be deflated so i could swallow without choking. !

Another air source is definitely a must. Most bottoms should be able to control the flow on their own unless you are physically forcing the liquid down with a plunger- controlling liquid coming down a tube from a funnel or something shouldn't be a problem. Practice while sitting/standing first- swallowing without choking while laying on your back can be tricky.

Thanks for the replies.

We experimented with extra tube into the mouth with the inflatable gag in our last scene.  It worked perfectly.  The gag was deflated when the fluid was pored through the tube. I was also able to suck on it while the tube was put into a Gatorade bottle.  I was able to breath through the noseholes in the hood all the time (while not blocked on purpose).

This means that I will most definitely buy a new inflatable gag with a breathingtube in the nearest future. And if it will be as werable as the normal inflatable gag that we have, a whole weekend with the gag in place will be tried.

yes, inflatable gags with breathing tubes are great.    i have worn mine for 7 days stretches.. lots of fun ! and comfortable.. the jaw isn't so happy, gets a bit stiff and you notice it when the gag comes out.. but still great bondage and fun to be gagged.  Frustrating as can be to not talk for a week !
