Awesome!  Let's give Erin her thread back and talk more about it as the date comes closer.

If that makes me sound like an arrogant English tosser then good because that is exactly what I am

Well the accent certainly comes through loud and clear to me :)

Glad to hear it, wouldn't want you getting hold of the wrong end of the stick. Did I ever tell you I'm a genius? Does that come across on the boards?

Anyway, never mind that, what's happening in the Arrested Development? Is it at series 4 yet?

i am a better writer than i am speaker - i don't want to make any assumptions about how i come across (i doubt anyone is tracking it :-) but my writing tends to be more elequent but also more fussy.

i speak more like, yknow, justsomegirl.

I was just thinking, I probably speak more on here than I do in RT. Generally I keep my thoughts and the processes of my mind to myself, unless I really trust the person, or respect them enough to be able to deal with them appropriately..and those kinda people are few and far between.

So maybe I seem more open on here than I am in RT.  I have a closed circle around me away from these boards.

Oh yeahhhh, I am probably wayyyy sloppier in conversation than in type.

I have been told that I come across like a prissy school teacher in type, of course the litttle snot was trying to piss me off. But I do know I am lazier in speech at times. Depends on how fast I am talking and to whom. Also, I tend to be alot more colourful in speech........as in creative cursing.

The written word is always up for interpretation. When i come on these boards, all of who i am is not apparent. i come here to learn and to share what i've learned, not necessarily to be amusing or entertaining. If that occurs, great, because in RT i love to kid and joke and have fun. But when i write i don't always bring that aspect of myself into my writing.

i'm what might be called an extroverted introvert in that i very much enjoy being alone or with Master - that's my preference. But when i do find myself in a group of friends i am more extroverted. i think it's a way i protect the more vulnerable parts of myself.

Fast Reply:

I think how you "come across" in the forums has more to do with the person reading your words, than it does with who you actually are in person.

I know that I can come across to one person one way.  Another person sees me in a totally different way.

I don't try too hard to be anything but myself, but one post or thread will have some people sending me "atta boy" emails, and another calling me a "dickhead"

*shrugs*

FirmKY
