Can I ask has any other sub been contacted by anyone telling them they are an approved Mentor for the Collarme site and offering there services as a mentor to any newbie to the lifestyle and if so how did they check they were genuine.

I recommend notifying one of the moderators and asking them directly. If CollarMe has "approved mentors" it would greatly surprise me.

An approved mentor? Ask them if they have a dilpoma from the International BDSM Mentors Association. I don't think CM is sanctioning mentors without that diploma. ~stef

I would suggest copy and pasting that email and sending it to ModOne. In my opinion that is someone preying on the naive and usign the Mods to do so.

I don't believe any site or group anywhere has approved mentor's. You need to make that decision for yourself if someone can help you or not. Sure, there are some decent people out there and word does get around...but to go as far as saying "approved for such and such" is a bit much.
