Ok, like it or not it is upon us. Valentines day is right around the corner.

Some of the most romantic men I've ever known in life identified with being Dominant.

So, my question is. If you're in a relationship during this season. What are you going to do for one another to make the day truly special?

It will actually be our first valentines day Doug and I are actually celebrating. My father was born on the same day. So usually he is the main focus. This year we've decided we would celebrate his birthday the day prior. The day is our's.

Anyway, what do you do that is special?

Well . . . . . I know what I would do if we were going to be together. But I can't say. Cause I know for a fact he reads my entries here. And that would just spoil any future surprise. But please be sure and let us know what you come up with.

Take care,

My guess is we'll go out to a nice dinner, sit in the hot tub, then have a play session. Sometime this week i plan to look around our local adult store for some unique gift for Him, or maybe buy a new bondage video. Any ideas?? I've been hoping they will put out a 40% off coupon in the paper like they usually do for Valentine's day.

So Gloria--what do you have planned?

Last year I bought him one of those tacky Master paddles. Gave it to him and asked for a spanking. Since I loathe spankings it meant a lot to him.

This year is not something I'd consider exactly romantic. He also reads the posts here but not everyday. Since I went out of my way for his gift. Since I've been asking him daily if I can give it to him. I might as well just spill it.
Doug is BIG TIME into sports of any kind. So I went out and got him a vintage yet brand new jacket with one of his favorite teams on it.
Nope, not romantic but something I sure hope he wears. We had a pretty serious play session this last weekend he is still glowing from..he and myself alike.
So, just a nice day planned. Other than a special dinner and such. No toys will be out though.

I'm going to his place for Valentine's weekend. We'll exchange gifts (i'm not saying what, he reads the boards often). We're going to a movie and he's making dinner one night. I might even get out of having to do the dishes once lol. I'm sure there will be a session involved. Other than that, he's being secretive and no amount of begging and whining on my part is getting anywhere.

*sigh* Sadly, I am going to be at my younger brother's wedding and he is going to be auditioning for a lighting job in the next state over. We won't even see one another until the next week. It's ok though, we haven't had a Valentine's Day together yet

I'm going to do the same thing I always do every V-day.

Wallow in bitterness and eat candy.

Some years I throw in sleep, and watching some MST3K, mmm.

I'm going to be nice for a change and spoil her rotten.

I shall shower my sub with flowers, a card, and a gift. I will cook as I always do and actually clean the dishes for a change. I will also be treating her to a WAY OUT OF THE DIET chocolate dessert. Instead of scary stuff we will see the movie HITCH. Not to mention my session is going to be extra kinky and something she has never experienced before.

That's all I'm going to say for now but I may post more of what I did after V day.

Well perhaps everyone can come back "after the fact" and tell us what they did. So a new thread doesn't have to be started.

Happy Mardi Gras!

Neither are we if you read my first post...hmm.
Hehe, we usually do something very small. Dinner and a tiny gift.
This year, well who knows. Guess we can celebrate over the weekend.

I am sure I won't see Master on Monday. Usually he sends me something to work because he knows how I like to show off in front of my coworkers.

I usually get 14 roses because everyone else gets 12.

Let's see... My submissive has tickets to the theatre on Friday night. On Saturday I'm finally having the tattoo done that he designed for me. (had to postphone it once)

Unfortunately, I have to be back in my city at 10 am Sunday for a play-off pool tournament with my ladies team so the weekend will be cut short.

I really think that this holiday should be changed to Valumetimes Day because thats usually what it takes to get through it.

This year I will having an incredably romantic week end of tearing my hair out and studying my ass off and praying I don't bomb my chemestery exam on monday. Cursing and crying the whole time of course. After that its going to be another hot night of studying so I dont fail my microbiology exam on tuesday and preperation for lab. Oh yeah good times.

If you can't tell I'm not exactly in the mood for this bullshit capitalistic holiday this year. All that romantic crap goes right over my head. Yeah I'm a chick but, I'm more into watching surgery and playing with power tools than candle light dinners (mind you candle light dinners arealways apriciated). Besides this is stuff your supossed to do regardless of a holiday if you really care for the person right?

On the other hand knowing that last year my Master had a particularly crappy valumetimes (we met a week or two after). And mine wasn't much to speak of either. I feel obligated to rectify the bad karma but, have no idea what to do. Not to mention a lack of motivation and being utterly broke. So maybe I'll just buy a cow or sheep heart so I can give him my heart for the holiday. Or maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to get my lil paws on some valume, then everything would be just peachy. I supose I've used up enough rant space for now. Anyone know where one can obtain the Valume needed to make this a happy holiday?

I just came from Lovers Package. I was so glad to see they have expanded their S/M section. It used to be just one little corner but now they have a whole row of items. The videos didn't look very good so i bought Hubby "S/M 101" book and bought myself some Ben Wah (sp?) balls.
