A male bottom is pert, well rounded, and lovely to spank until it gets all pink and rosy. A submissive man has one of these and will offer it up on demand.

To address what you probably want to know, the difference is that a top and a bottom may negotiate a really fucking hot scene where one is the giver and one is the reciever, but there is no real power or authority dynamic going on. You could almost call them pitcher and catcher. The bottom wants to be caned; the top enjoys caning. So that's what happens, but the bottom isn't going to call the top Master or Mistress, and maybe not even Sir or Ma'am. It's just a fun activity that the two people share, with no implications beyond one person doing the giving and the other person doing the recieving.

There are always shades of grey in any interaction, so some elements of submission may creep into a scene that is primarily top/bottom. They aren't mutually exclusive or anything. They're just not mandatory in a top/bottom scene where the focus is on the activity itself and not the power dynamics that such an activity might otherwise be expressing.

I would think a submissive would limit himself to starting one thread per topic per night, but that's just me.

male bottoms refer to a male taking on the submissive role in the scene as in the "receiver" . they are not necessarily submissive. it usually involes sex. they can give orders and instruction

male submissives take orders from a dominant and it may or may not involve sex. they usually expect a reward for their submission unlike a slave

A submissive, male or female, does not always expect a reward. I submit because it makes me happy, not because I expect to be petted on the head and called a good girl. Though it does make me happy!
