As you all know I am on vacation and do not have internet access. We had a slight problem the other day.
A server went down and the fastest and easiest solution was to bring a backup from several hours prior.
I apologize for the data loss but it was a choice between keeping the site down for what might have possibly been an extended amount of time or to lose a few hours of information. I hope you can all understand this decision. I am currently unable to return emails but I will get back to everyone once I return.

If you want to help out then I ask that you please help with the donations. We greatly appreciate those
who have donated, but since we brought the donation page back up, we havent been receiving many at all
and as many of you know, hardware and bandwidth costs are very expensive and we are trying to upgrade
our systems so we can make the site better for everyone.

Thanks for this note MOds...
I was thinking about looking up MizSuz' CHALLENGE TO ALL USERS TO DONATE yesterday for this very reason to get some folks to perhaps donate and make the site so many of us find sooooo valuable better...
I definitely feel better knowing the reason the emails disappeared, and that it isn't permanent. Enjoy the Vaca... M

Y'all need to get an actual annoucement section in the personals half of this site. I had to explain to a local gal that "No, the site didn't lose your profile on purpose, it was a glitch that made everyone lose everything." People who don't visit the forums have no clue what happened. I bet most don't even know the lost stuff.

Actually I think a site like this that has as many active members as it has could or should have an annual pledge drive to raise money and noone should have a problem with it because like how much we get to do with this site?

At this time we can only accept donations via Amazon Honor System.
The donations would really help out a lot.
I posted on how to recover any data that was lostboth onthe personals side and on the forum.
I will post more once I return.
