I'm a sucker for smart piano rock, and have been a Ben Folds fan for ages. He's got a new album "Songs for Silverman" coming out on April 26th. The prerelease single "Landed" was released on February 1st and is getting some airplay. The tour schedule for the summer hasn't been fully updated yet, but I hope he makes a swing in a 200 mile radius of my direction. Ok, so I'm a geek.... Lily

my two favorite ben folds songs are "Brick" and "Evaporated" in alot of ways he reminds me of like, the original dashboard confessionals or something.

AWESOME! Ben Folds fans! I've been brokenhearted since he broke up the "5" Didja catch him in the background in those Wm Shatner "Priceline" commercials? Hysterical.

Yes, and in fact he is on Shatner's album. The next album Folds is releasing has many of the musicians on it from the Shatner album and has more of a '5' feel is what's being said. But I like the solo stuff better...that's just me. My favs are "Sports and Wine" "Luckiest" and the new one "Landed" is awesome.
