What it sound like to me he is not convertible in is Master skin. The best thing for him to understand is to get him books to read. So he can understand some things and depending on what he is doing to you he is probbly afraid to hurt you. Remember we are raised the things we like to do with each other is consider abuse. Those in the lifestyle understand it is not because it is in a control manner. See if you can find a good Master in your area and see if you guys can meet up. The best way to do this is attend the local munches in your area. The best book for him to start off in is SM 101 by Jay Wiseman it is very basic and will give him some understanding. What you need to get him to understand what you enjoy having done to you is ok and not abusive. Start off light like being spanked or some light bondage. The greatest fear is to hurt the one you love or care about and it can be consider abuse. Good luck

DO NOT try too hard. If it isn't in him it isn't in him. I made the mistake of trying to push my partner-who very much enjoys play but isn't intersested in things more serious than that- into a more structured relationship. Nearly tore us appart.

So....know your partner and know what he wants. Know when what he wants needs to come before what you want.

Thank you. I didn't know there were books out there like that.Do you know of any that teach that it isn't all about physical pain,but trust and commitment?
