My relationship so far have all been with me dom

Could be your a switch? It is both that simple & complex. Although I have no words if assistance to offer in that area.

I know for me personally, I have never had the desire to dominate in the active sense. I can come up with all sorts of wonderful sadomasochisitic ideas, but alas, I couldn't top my way out of a paper sack.

People are multifaceted. In the workplace, I am a dominant force, control feak, etc. but in *my* interpersonal relationship, I am subordinate. My dominance does not extend into my relationship. Luckily, I found a partner who complimented my ability to relinquish control within our relationship, but encourages my dominant facets in everyday life.

Don't worry so much about the label, find someone who connects with all of you, the pieces can settle into place as you go.

Yes i have to agree, can you be a switch? There might be you do truly want both to be dominant and be a submissive.

I am what one would consider a dominant in the career world. I can rip any of my employee's a new butt hole when needed.
When at home, I like to relax. Be myself. So it is only natural for me to be submissive to my dom. It balances me out. If you really look into statistics and the lifestyle. Many Dominants are what most would consider submissive the the workplace. While submissives are powerful.
Of course that is not the case with everyone...but a good majority. So, I would'nt worry so much. Do a bit of soul searching and you'll know what side of the fence you should be on.
