Lenis -> RE: piercing (11/19/2006 6:11:22 PM)

I've had both of my nipples done at seperate times, have my tongue and various ear piercings.  Master went with me to get my second nipple piercing.  I guess I made an interesting noise because the piercer said to Him, "I bet that's what she sounds like when you're having sex."  In a couple months Master wants me to get some more in my ears, a couple in my labia, and one in my eyebrow(the eyebrow one only stays if Master likes it though...)

They hurt, but not as much as you'd think they do.  I just close my eyes and breathe when the piercer tells me to.  My nipples were the sharpest pain, but the shortest while my tongue was the least pain, but the longest.  Ears are just annoying.  The cartilage is tough and you have to be all careful with them because if it goes wrong the cartilage can die and leave you with a floppy ear or strange scarring.

I think piercings are addictive.  I swear, I got one and I've been getting them at a rate of once every 6 months since then.  I figure I'll stop asking for them when I either set off metal detectors or I don't have any more places to pierce.

I've had just my ears done, and my right nostril. And let me tell you something about THAT one.. *laugh*.

I have a tattoo on my back that took 2 hours to complete. The pain barely even phased me. Actually, I rather enjoyed it. My nostril piercing took less than 30 seconds and I was sobbing like a little girl. It was HORRIBLE.

I do still want to get my nipples pierced, though, even though I am told they are the most painful piercing. Ah, beauty over comfort!

Denny17 -> RE: piercing (11/19/2006 6:19:26 PM)

I used to have both my septum and left nostril pierced. Personally i loved having them both pierced and didnt really think it looked too 'cluttered'. My septum was the most painful piercing i've had done but it's worth it. The shit thing with my piercing was that it was crooked and too close to the end of my nose so i ended up having to take it out. I'll definetly be getting it pierced again though,at another piercing shop and hopefully it'll turn out better second time round. There weren't any complications with my septum,except for the shitty job they did. It was annoying blowing my nose.

My entire experience with permanent piercings includes my ears (one hole in each, I was in high school or earlier, I can't remember the pain), my nipples, and my tongue. I do NOT think my experiences count as typical (from having talked to piercers and others with piercings).

I had my nipples done in a single session, but one at a time. I do NOT recommend this. The reason is that no matter how much you nerve yourself up for it, once you've felt the pain you KNOW what to expect. You tense up. Or, rather, I tensed up. The second nipple hurt more because I was more tense. With the first one I held my breath and then panted a bit when the jewelry was in. With the second one I tensed up a lot and arched upwards, and I grunted some littled noise or such.

I wouldn't get them done every day, but as an experience it is something I could ~handle~ doing once a month (assuming same level of pain, though I know you can't do that). I have pictures of the nipple piercing session taken by a friend, including one with the needle through my nipple which I love. ~chuckles~

I'm not a good comparison for how long I healed either. 3 days later I could touch the nipples with only mild soreness, and within a month my nipples were being pierced and tugged on. Within 3 months my nipples were back to normal, except with jewelry for extra decoration. I was extra sensitive and could feel more touch and such for about 6 months. It is now well over a year since they have been pierced and the only thing I notice is that my horsehoes hook on clothing from time to time, and when pinching it hurts more (which makes sense, there's a hard piece of metal in there to give extra pressure to a pinch!)

Level of pain, on a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being ~ow! I pinched my finger, I'll suck on it for a second and then move on~ and 10 being ~if I move I will vomit or pass out this hurts so bad~ I would estimate the nipple piercings to be a 4 and a 4.5 respectively.

With my tongue, I winced, didn't make any noises, and drooled a lot ~apparently common that bit~. My speech was impaired for less than 24 hours, and pretty much most of the soreness was gone after 24 hours also. I was told to leave the jewelry in for 6 weeks, and 5 weeks in I was at my piercer's begging for a new (shorter!) bar and he ok'd it, so I was given a gold bar ~gift from Sir~. I discovered gold is MUCH too soft (I bit it in anger and I warped ~then swallowed in the night~ one ball, bent the bar in half, screwed the other ball up so I can't remove it from the bar). I now wear a reasonably short bar in my tongue most of the time, though spicy food makes my tongue swell slightly and then I change out for a longer bar. I generally wear acrylic bars and balls, whatever struck my fancy online or in the mall, though I occasionally wear my original stainless steel bar (Sir likes the feel of the metal better, and it picks up temperatures better!).

On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate this about a 3.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE play piercing. I have had my labia pierced with a 14 gauge piercing needle (on a scale of 1-10 about a 6), had my breasts and ass pierced, have had needles directly into my breasts and ass both, and have had my pubic area pierced (on a scale of 1-10 about a 7) just above the pubic bone, with the needle parallel to my legs and perpendicular to the pelvic bone. I've worn back corsets a few times and in general I love needles. My opinion on play piercing, as long as it isn't in the vaginal/pubic region, is that it is about a 2-3 depending on the length and gauge of the needle (have had anywhere from a 27g to an 18g).

Hopefully that helps with feedback. Questions or anything I'm happy to answer on my profile. I love to pierce too so anyone ever looking to get stuck, I love happy pincushions!!

Ear cartilage was painful. Nipples were painful as HELL while he was doing them, but after the first day the pain twinges subsided. All you have to do is focus on the fact that the pain has a purpose and you're gonna look pretty when it's done, and it's okay. I know my self-esteem regarding my breasts shot through the roof when I had my nipples pierced.

Piercing is fleeting pain...I experienced more pain getting a tattoo on the side of my breast. MUCH more. Think of it that way...the pain doesn't last very long, and the rewards are so sweet.

Wildfleurs -> RE: piercing (11/20/2006 8:02:19 AM)

I'm using quick reply....

I have an outer labia piercing (one on each lip) and it hurt like nothing I've ever felt before.  However once the piercing was over there was no pain so its something that certainly is mangable, but beforehand I had heard all sorts of things about how it wouldn't really hurt so I was kind of taken aback by the pain.  It was completely worth it tho.

As silly as it sounds, Orajel helps deaden the softer tissue areas.  Do not use after the piercing is done, it can hide the effects of infections.

Did my own frenum pierce.  wouldnt recommend it.  could of irreparably scarred or damaged my dong.

Hmm... anyone else have any feedback on the nipples? It's something that I've always fantasized about getting done, but I'm muuuuch too big of a chicken to just go out and get one. I'm sort of wistfully hoping that I'll meet a Dom who thinks I should get it done, and would go with me, and hold my hand. [:)]

My Dom is urging me to get my nipples done, though I have always wanted to do them myself.  I already have a piercer so it's just a matter of time until I get them poked.  I also have a female friend that is going to go with me... that should be fun! [:D]

When I got my clit hood done, I was alone in the area with the piercer, though my Dom was close by.  It was too close and crowded for a threesome... but that worked out alright anyway.  He pampered me afterward, and now everytime he sees my piercing he gets a wicked grin on his face because he knows I did it for him.

Seems as if i will be getting piercings soon, if anyone has gone through this how much pain is invoved?

ivoy, I promise it hurts a LOT less than your ears. It's very quick. Just make sure to take care of the piercings afterward - wash twice a day with SoftSoap (or other antibacterial soap that won't dry your skin). Do not remove the "crusties" with your fingers - hop in the shower and let the water ease it off. Do not use Bactine, Neosporin, or other solutions you would ordinarily use on wounds - too harsh and can do more harm than good. No worries, ok? ~smiling~

i am very seriously considering a frenulum piercing where my Mistress could apply a leash.  i also am very concerned about the pain (i am a devout coward) and have heard from some that penile piercings heal poorly.  As i am also a diabetic any risk of infection is very worrisome to me especially there.  does anyone here have much experience with this specific piercing that they could share with me?

Being diabetic, I would recommend not having any piercing done in an area where there may be a high potential for infection.  The frenulum (either mouth or scrotum) would probably be okay as long as you maintain a good, clean environment.  Be very wary of signs of infection, and if one does occur, remove the jewelry post haste.   Be prepared for a much longer healing time, and BE SURE to tell the piercer that you are diabetic.  I realize that doesn't seem like a big deal (it's not HIV or anything), but they should be aware.

I would probably avoid any penis piercings or tongue piercing, they take a long time to heal anyway, and you are correct, there is the potential for some serious complications, especially in diabetics.

In the place of piercing, you could do some wicked CBT or other restraint-type fun. :)

hope i'm not hijacking this thread - but would like to know - when the hood is pierced does it make you more or less sensitive?

Bearlee -> RE: piercing (11/21/2006 12:27:53 PM)

I have repeatedly heard it makes one more sensitive.  Also, that it is the least painful piercing to get and heals the fastest...

joSirC -> RE: piercing (11/21/2006 12:40:28 PM)

i have had nipple piercing and 6 piercings in one ear.

Pain wise the nipples were a doddle no pain whatsoever... healed very nicely with the aid of a bottle of spray savlon

as for the ears.. the first 4 were again a doddle no pain whatsoever... the top 2 tho (cartilige) were so so for pain but never fully healed and i eventually took them oui and let them heal up.

HUFFELSCRUFF -> RE: piercing (1/26/2016 11:22:42 AM)

Master has demand that my nipples be pierced as proof of ownership or something like that. That freezing stuff they put on warts, good idea or just really bad. There's always origel.

More, it's a bit weird the nerve endings seem to relocate a bit, be careful if you bend down in the beginning, you can have a moment in the supermarket just picking something up from the lower shelves ;)
