I’m just curious if it’s worth me bothering with this feature by getting your feedback on it.

Thanks.

Why would you want to bother with it? Personally, if I don't like someones profile, I just don't look at it. Mind you, I haven't acutally gone looking since the first few days I joined so...

Not going to mention the profile but it’s as offensive as offensive can be and certain people stumbling upon it who are not confident about expressing their desires may be upset by it and dissuaded from bothering trying to meet people here. It attacks all people that live an alternative lifestyle and asks them to kill themselves by jumping off a building. Not the thing you want to encounter if you’re new. I like this site and think it’s up to the users to report morons that use the site for the wrong reasons. Also the profiles come up at random when you log on so you don’t having to be searching to be greeted by one you don’t like.

REALLY? Jeeze... now I gotta go look... why would such a person even be on this site, if they don't like 'alternative' lifestyles???? Methinks severe thereapy is needed....

thats almost as bad as a "friend" of mine who has a profile up that he changes almost on a daily basis that almost always rants about how there are no real submissives on here. He comes off sounding like the worst kind of HNG and just doesnt get that perhaps THEY are not the problem, HE is.

There are also those who create profiles for the sole purpose of badmouthing other members. I had to deal with one of those myself a while ago. Apparently, I got on someone's wrong side so they created a profile stating that I had an STD. How juvenile.

I reported the profile and it was removed within a couple days.

Yay collarme admins!

One time, there was a profile from an individual who sounded potentially dangerous that I reported.  I saw the profile and reported it in the morning and it was down when I got home from work.

This was a very disturbed individual who stated that he desired to physically harm Dommes, to get even with them for the injustices they commit upon "helpless" male submissives.  Furthermore, he stated that he particularly had it in for Dommes who did not switch, as he had no respect for those who could dish it out but not take it.

What was disturbing was that this individual wrote to Me in the morning, suggesting I meet him later in the day at a hotel room.  As if!  I would never agree to such a thing with someone I had not even met, but there's no telling what would have happened to Me had I agreed to meet that lunatic.  I also state in My profile that I don't switch, so I definitely fit the profile of the kind of person he had it in for.

Anyway, I reported the lunatic's profile and it was down the same day.

He spelled authority wrong.  Should we tell him?

It’s a strange world where a post mentioning an offensive profile is removed but the profile remains. Fair enough I did say I wasn’t going to mention the exact profile and then I did mention it in the hope more people would report it.

I know the kind of response I’ll get for writing this post i.e. “we are not responsible for that side of the site and can only censor you for mentioning the profile etc. etc.” So I shan’t mention him anymore in future posts.

I’m not obsessed with this honest.
