If you catch her show tomorrow morning... I'd like your opinion on it all, from a het male point of view: How did you feel about her male presentation? How was the interpretation of a male by a female? Did you find it flattering, sexy or unsettling? (Now, granted this is an excursion of a female wanting to see what the "other side" is like and not true cross dressing. But it may give you some insight how women see it by your initial gut reaction.) To take this mental exercise a bit further.. say that you had married her and she told you about her desires to cross dress. How far could you get involved in it?

Heh....they are called strap-ons. A few more articles of clothing wouldn't hurt. No big deal. Women dress boyish all the time now. Its an accepted norm. But if a male acts or looks feminine he is "less than a man" and despised. Never mind what his character is really like. That is our culture.

The difference in the women's dressing issue, aside from Transgenderism and sexual re-assignmentis that when JQ Fem dons so called "male clothing" (however, T-shirt and jeans have now become unisex), they do not wish to be addressed by the other gender to the point of wanting to be addressed by a Masculine name such as George or John. The thing is, the average woman would look good in a garbage bag, let alone in a man's suit and tie. Meanwhile, the average guy only looks good in a suit and tie. Whilst this clearly leaves me with something of a dilemna, it is nevertheless what I have oberved to be true. E

I'm not certain of that 'FACT'... In LotusSongs post, she was asking what if a woman wanted to have sex with her male partner, as a male (the woman is wearing a strap on and want's to use it on her male partner). I highly doubt that many men (especially vanilla) would be ok with this. I think they (the men) would have a negative reaction... after all, most het males like everyone to know that they are het - they vehemently deny having any tendencies whatsoever that they believe makes them seem gay (which includes being thought of as liking/wanting/being ok with anal sex, when it's the males own butt). I think the difference in women dressing in jeans & t-shirts (traditionally men's clothing) and men dressing in skirts & blouses is that the jeans & t-shirt bit are NOW seen as gender neutral. Also, jeans are now made for women (curvy for the hips & cut to accent the leg) as are t-shirts (wet t-shirt contest... doesn't envoke the thought of men now does it?). Skirts and blouses are still very much in the feminine department in our society... but if more men wore them, it would change. Take the colour pink... not long ago (maybe 5-10 years), it was a 'gay' colour. If a man wore pink, he was gay. Period. Now, we have CEO's and het men wearing pink shirts. Not a huge surprise anymore, and not thought of as odd (unless the guy's colouring doesn't go with the pink, but that's likely only to be noticed by women & gay men). I hope this makes sense... [:)]

Exactly. What made me even think of this post was something I got in my email. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOnJXGZgplM Even though this is off the wall.. women, who are not crossdressing but simply wearing jeans and a t-shirt..do not adopt male mannerisms nor identify as such. What I'm trying to show with this thread is how hard it is for a spouse or girlfriend to get her mind around the extremes.
