The Pentagon's closely guarded review of how to improve the situation in Iraq has outlined three basic options: Send in more troops, shrink the force but stay longer, or pull out, according to senior defense officials.

Insiders have dubbed the options "Go Big," "Go Long" and "Go Home." The group conducting the review is likely to recommend a combination of a small, short-term increase in U.S. troops and a long-term commitment to stepped-up training and advising of Iraqi forces, the officials said.

Well I think that it is time to exercise to go home option.   Then we can blame the democratic congress for forcing us to do it.  When they explode into civil war we can stand back and sell off our military assets to the various factions and get our money back.

Couldnt some of the money be sent to arm rebels in Nicaragua?

Or have we been there before some time?

If that's the best they can do it shows a remarkable lack of imigination amongst the general staff.

Let me see, are you saying that it is time to go because your party can blame the other party for the fact they started a war over lies and deflect the blame? Let me understand this completely, for you it does not matter that close to 3000 of our soldiers have died over there, the most important aspect of it is that the republicans do not take the heat for making it happen... that is sooooo screwed up I just had to call attention to it.

Damn!! I would have thought those three options would have been obvious to a grade school kid. I think you guys should fire your expensive military think-tank types and just poll a grade 6 class.
