I just looked at a world time zone website http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/custom.html?sort=1

It appears that Sydney is 16 hours ahead of New York time. So if the chat begins at 10 pm on Tuesday (New York time) it would be 2 pm on Wednesday in Sydney.

If you want to double check my math, please do! (my brain is a bit rusty and I haven't had enough coffee to
lubricate it) I hope you can join us! [:)]

Hmmmm....this is what I came up with......

22:00:00 Tue Feb 15 2005 in US/Pacific converts to
17:00:00 Wed Feb 16 2005 in Australia/Sydney

That would make it 5 pm in Australia. The link I used was:

no, no... no apologies needed. You checked my math and we both came up with the same answer, since there is a 3 hour time zone difference between the US/Pacific and New York (Eastern/US) timezones.

I agree with Proud. Very fun...and educational too. It lasted two hours, people came and went, but everyone had great comments and the discussion flowed so easily. [:)]
