Wow I finally got to do my first cutting this weekend it was a totally awesome experience (thank you Harley and Jacob). I had been wanting to do this since I saw pics of a friends cutting over a year ago now. I was very surprised as it did not hurt nearly as much as I thought it would..but then I was already feeling pretty good from some serious impact play earlier in the evening and needle play just prior.

Any way I was just wondering who else out there likes to do cuttings and what their experiences were like?

Cutting is one of the few things I don't do casually. It's a very primal, symbolic and extremely intensly powerful act for me to do with someone else.

Congrats on your first cutting. I really love when Master does that to me, I'm getting another one soonish, He is going to cut into me the word "Master" in some asian script (can't remember what language). ..and yeah it doesnt hurt really, its mostly the sting from the antiseptic going into where its been cut that you feel. Its just so intimate, I love it

Know the feeling.....know it well. my Master and i do cuttings quite regularly. I've written about some of the experiences in my journal.
We even filmed one session. Tried to post some pics on here but i'm not allowed.
The carving on my tummy doesn't hurt as much as the 'slut' carved on my breast but i love wearing Masters marks, so i suffer in silence......and pleasure. Mmmmm

LA thank you for the link as always I remember reading that thread last year. It was seeing pics of alandra's rose and hearing here describe the experience that first sparked my interest in them.

slavejali.....mmmm yes I sting of the antiseptic...but I also loved the feel of the drag of the scalpel. the whole experience was wonderful and what a rush.

I would gladly post some pics if I knew how to do it. I know you have to put them on a different site and then set up a link...but I have no clue how to do either. if any one wants to see just e-mail me on the other side and I will send you a pic.

I had my first cutting done one year ago this week. I went to visit my Lord and alandra for Thanksgiving last year and after supper, he took me to the dungeon and cut crossed swords into my right thigh. It was the only thing that we did that night and I was quite surprised because I did not expect him to mark me when he did.

Below is a link to all the cuttings that my Lord has done on alandra and I. It is password protected and if you wish to see it, email my Lord and he will provide you with the password. It has pictures of the swords on alandra and I and then the rose that was cut into alandra's back. One day he will cut a cat into my back; though that will not happen until I move there. The time it will take to complete the cutting and the aftercare needed makes it rather difficult to do when we live so far apart.
