Wasn't sure whether to post this in General or Health & Safety, so I'm gonna let the mods worry about that.

My girl finds certain types of warming lubes incredibly uncomfortable around the clitoral area. Specifically, the ones with peppermint as a warming agent.

It's fair to assume her skin is rather sensetive around there

The thing is, I would love to experiment with other irritants in the same area and would really welcome some advice on any gels, ointments, etc, which quickly and effectively neutralise the burning effect of these irritants.

Heya, if Your actually interested in something to cause irritation and discomfort then i can recomment ganesha paste, tis truely evil as i know from experience myself..lol....is a good punishment tool though (lets just say i have never bobbed my tongue at my Sir again.lol), its a paste made up of various things, lube, lime oil, chilli oil, scotch bonnet, ginger, can be got in various strengths over the net or some shops, use with caution and very very very sparingly as the slightest touch will have the poor girlie in pieces.....do NOT get off with water as this intensifies the burn, use milk or cream to neutralise....Hope this helps..hugs xXx

Lots of folks consider me a potent irritant.  If I can be of any assistance in this matter, I would gladly do so.

Is this known by any other name? i'm not coming up with anything searching for "ganesha paste"... sounds iiiinteresting, tho. Some kind of ingrediant in Indian food?
Milk is generally recommended to reduce burning from anything in the pepper family. Essential oils (peppermint, cinnamon, i forget the other one that people use) are best diluted with a more neutral oil, like vegetable or baby oil. A good detergent soap may also help with this, if you can find one mild enough that it doesn't cause more irritation by itself (possibly dish liquid?). Generally, irritants should not be considered to have an "immediate off", though, so the best bet is to start slow.

Two additional points of interest:

1. Even if cinnamon oil seems to have stopped burning, it should still be thoroughly cleaned from the skin after play unless you really want to burn off the top layer of skin.
2. i have it under good authority that repeatedly poking the clitoris while trying to replace a woman's clit hood jewelry is highly irritating. Wear a cup.

Cheers,

...dave

anything with fat content (because of the globules) can surround the irratant.

Milk, oil, vaseline and so on................

There's this.

Don't know if it's the same stuff. This appears to be a henna paste used for temporary tat's.

tiger balm, peppermint, ginger, toothpaste.
A really fun thing is a ginger insert, with a dab of tiger balm or peppermint.  The inside is pulsing, and the outside is throbbing.

Hadn't considered milk for some reason, thanks folks. I do like the look of that ganesha blend!

LuckyAlbatross: Thanks, I have my evening's reading sorted out now

Here's a question: We know how intense clitorally applied peppermint oil is, how does this compare to the sensations from figging?

The problem with most irritants, especially in the pepper family, is that they cannot be neutralized easily.  Powdered pepper will produce a burning sensation.  On the more extreme end, I've used a dab of pepper spray (sprayed on a Q-tip) swabbed on the clit with immediate hysterics resulting.   No harm done.

Unless you really want to set her up for 20 - 45 minutes of suffering (and no way to stop it) I wouldn't use anything pepper-based.

i had a girlfriend who loved to cook.  She'd just been cooking, and had diced up a chili pepper and some ginger.  An hour later, those oils were apparantly still on her hands because withing a minute of her touching me the heat because quite intense and uncomfortable...it took us a while to figure out why i was burning down there.    So, it seems just getting a little chili pepper or ginger juice on your hands would work quite well.

I understand shampoo may be the best thing to neutralize capsicum heat on tender bits...  or something like 'Dawn' dishwashing liquid.  The idea is they 'cut grease' (and oils).

I prefer to just use a tiny amount, as the stuff can be a bit scary as it heats up; ya begin to wonder if ya may just combust if you're not used to the sensations.
