I am thankful for a year that i grew in many ways. Where i lost my party friends and ended up finding true friends. Where i learned that it is ok to not be perfect and finding perfection in that. To find a strong enough love that when it was time to let them go, i knew it was for the better. In loosing that love, i found my true sexual self. To know that there is a promice for tomarrow, and i see it everytime i see my daughter.

I'm thankful I'm not these morally-crippled people:

I'm thankful I'm alive and reasonably well, and that I have a home, and the two people I love are well, and here.

I am thankful for:
a job that I love
my loving, caring Dom
my 2 adorable kitties
my health
my friends. They're family to me and I am so blessed to have them in my life.
my nieces and nephews. They're all so special and I'm so proud of them.
My own crazy family. They put the "fun" in dysfunction, but I love them anyway.

i don't care for this guy. i understand that he's the top choice to do the remake of the first "Halloween". i think this is going to be a big mistake and will ruin the reputation of the film (this come from seeing a few of his poorly-made films)

I am thankful every day for 10 years of love like no other with my belated Beloved. And a chance at love to continue with my Lady love. On a lighter but still important note, all the dear lads who have had their backsides warmed by me,and those yet to come, lol.

This past year has brough so many changes into my life that I will always be eternally grateful for

the love of a man who understands how hard it is sometimes to return that love
the patience of a man who understands that not everything can happen overnight
the strength of a man who understands that sometimes I really can be just a weak little girl

Most of all though, the understanding he shows when I try and back off through fear of the unknown

all things that I am extremely grateful for

Im grateful for collarme for giving us a wonderful place to exchange thoughts.

Hello A/all,

In 2000, I moved out from my ex-wife and the house my income purchased, and filed for divorce the month prior to the internet company I worked for went belly-up during the dot bomb leaving me underemployed picking up jobs in the harbor every so often.

So there I was fighting to get a job with a zillion unemployed internet dweebs with my job skills.

The three most stressful things in a person's life:

1)  Loss of a relationship.

2)  Loss of employment.

3)  Moving.

Over the next 6 years, I fought tooth and nail to remain employed, support myself, continued to overpay child support to my ex-wife, and worked in the harbor as a longshoreman whenever possible.

I also started doing the women's self defense which was something I was heartbroken (health issues) to have to retire from in 1993.  I asked my doctor in 2002 if I could do it again and she said it was a bad idea to be kicked in the head repeatedly, but that yes, I could.

I am thankful for the tenacity I have which makes me, when the chips are down, to fight tooth and nail to overcome adversity.

I am also thankful that despite the zillions of reasons I have to make my ex-wife's life a living hell because of her actions, I prefer to just turn the other cheek and walk away.

And I am especially thankful that through it all I have kept my sense of humor as the sardonic smart-ass I always wanted to be.

Sinergy
