I am curious to know if you have ever heard of a type of wrestling, grappling, boxing type of contest where there are no rules, and sometimes even no judge? I use to wrestle in school, and can relate to the over in less than a minute you mentioned. I'm from Lorain, and heard of a group several years ago out your way that had these matches. They were also mixed male vs female and straight up as well? I'm looking for a name?, and you seem to be the one in the know about it here! Thanks quote:
ORIGINAL: siamsa24 I am currently involved in a relationship so I would have to run it by him, but it should be ok. I am mostly involved in grappling. It's a form of martial arts that is all fought on the ground. It involves use of pressure points, choke holds and basically no rules (some, but if the judge didn't see it then it didn't happen). The fight continues until someone taps out (I have had fights end in less then a minute, my longest fight was nearly 13 minutes long, the judges stopped it simply because both of us were reaching exhaustion and we were both refusing to tap out). My hold of choice is a modification of a figure four leg lock from behind with a choke hold (also from behind). I also like using pressure points in the throat, legs and upper arms as well as biting (if I know the judge isn't looking). I also talk during fights and have been known to use the fact that I am a girl to my advantage ("don't do that, that hurts" generally makes them ease up, I guess it's been trained into them not to hurt a girl)
