Let's see....

already made:
stuffing with fresh herbs, apple and sausage;
twice baked mixed potatoes (half a skin of an Idaho potato, piped with stripes of mashed Idaho and Sweet potato;
flourless chocolate whiskey raisin cake with a chocolate ganache glaze;
espresso pecan pie with homemade cinnamon espresso ice cream

Have to do the turkey.....I make a garlic and fresh herb butter that I rub UNDER the breast skin before I roast;  the butter keeps the breast meat moist, and the herbs and garlic flavor it really well.

...and some veggies, which I haven't figured out yet.  Maybe green beans with caramelized onion, country ham and dijon.

I'm going to my sisters house.  She does the traditional meal and is able to duplicate my mom's stuffing exactly.  So I'll have warm, fuzzy memories all wrapped up in that one dish of stuffing.  Happy Thanksgiving all.

Happy Thanksgiving.  We go to my parents.  My immediate family and some extended family will be there.  It is completely traditional.  And then later, I will be watching the Broncos game on tv.

I will be having PB&J with oyster crackers and a diet 7-up (I just packed my lunch).  I will be working a fun 12-hour shift today.

This evening after my kids come back from Thanksgiving with the ex and his family, we will go to my parents and have
Alaskin king crab, bread and cheese, fruit,  not sure what else but probably wont be much more than that.
