What is the most over the top, stupid, insane, dangerous, or silly thing you''ve ever done to win somebody back? Did it work?

I tavelled across the country and suprised a girl with a single red rose, whilst dying from the dreaded man flu. (It went comically badly - London is a big city to hunt down one person for a suprise).

It didn't work either. (I briefly considered pitching a reality TV show to Channel 4/Endemol as a second attempt, but y'know. That might have seemed a bit... nuts.

Once I took a bus to Detroit, Michigan (from New Jersey) to say that I was sorry for breaking someone's heart and when I got there I found out he didn't even live there anymore so I just went to a friend's house that lived there and got drunk for the weekend so it didn't work but I had one helluva time
