I am so depressed today that I actually read through 3 different books on molecular genetics.

How sad is that

I really need to get out more

/sigh

compared to other people...and i know there is a least and handfulof peopleout there who really care about me.

Better days are ahead. Stay strong.

To cheer one up, hmmm..........

1- your new profile pics are lovely.

2- you're a Texan, so maybe you also like the Cowboys? If so, they're winning big time.

3- an ahhhdorable pic > http://home.swbell.net/weenie/Adorable-G.JPG

gosh Cassandra, i know you asked for cheering up but i just read yours and your owners profile, they both were great reads, illuminating very competent, deep, inteligent, good hearted, lovely people.

but i cant help thinking that you might not be truly compatible, not the age difference ( i believe its not the age its the stage) but you both seem to talk about the struggle of your journey

you both seem to be saying its so hard and it seems to be very challenging to say the least.

i relate i was deeply in love with a master who i struggled with.

i struggled with my indentity
i struggled with his ego
i struggled when he commanded me
i struggled so much and so often that i began to relieze to my horror and pain that while BDSM was for me, but he was not.

we split and are still friends.

he found the right sort of submissive for his needs and i have had several partners that flowed much easier for me too.

i doubt that is all that cheery to hear...but trust me with my carpel tunnel i would never have written it if i did not think that long term it would be of value to you.

be well

Oh, this easy, go to my profile page, and print out my picture. Then go to a mirror so you can see it's reflection next to yours. And then realize that the guy in the picture actually thinks he desires a hot, smart, sub like yourself. Molecular biology drool. And then try not to laugh at the feasiblity I will be successful in my quest.

Sorta puts things in perspective.  You just haven't mastered the concept of denial well enough yet.

I even laugh at my odds.

I think I just depressed myself, LOL.

Now I need someone to cheer me up.

I understand where you are coming from, but it's not him that I am depressed about. It's sad but this is the first thanksgiving that I have not gone back to Moody for; first one by myself...and dayum if it does not suck big time

Yes, for one, you're a Texan, Sis!  We rule!  [Despite bad press from you-know-who]  The women from Texas and Louisiana have a certain verve and carnality about them that's so perceptible, that I can occasionally spot where they're from, from a photograph.

Why have you made me think of this story?  I'm remembering a Zen koan, which essentially goes this way:

A monk was walking a long way, in the snow, when he fell.  He lay in the snow and called out for help.  "Help me, I can't get up!"  Hearing his call, an elder monk came to him.  He saw the monk's situation, and in response, he fell back into the snow, too, and started calling for help, himself.  The younger monk then got up from the snow and walked on.

Maybe it's because I can't always comfort or find hope for myself, yet I can see that same state of mind in other people and believe that there is another way, believe that there are happiness and love and other blessings for them, and want them to have those, believe that they can.

Dear Brother E.,

I cant help you. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. How dare you use the tone of voice you just did with me.  Yeah, I was there to bail your azz out of jail a few years back.  YOU backed out of a real estate deal- and left me holding the bag- all cause of your way of ways. I am reitired. I do not have the luxury of messing up financially.

I never went to you for money. Even when I had atty fees and medical bills that put me into bankrupsty.
I dont want your money.

I dont expect your money.

But I do expect to be treated with repsect.

You live in a glass house and you are throwing stones.

Im a hairline from 302/5150 you.
Life has cherry pits. deal with it.

dis yourself if you must- but im not a snot rag-

How dare you use the tone of voice just now.

Im angry at you right now.

Ild advice you to recall who your real friends are in life.

boo hoooo. life sucks.

you are an azzholoe right now. get over yourself.

since you can not go home go to the store tommorrow and buy the food you like best from thanksgiving then call home have your mom tell you how to cook it and you will feel better.  you will feel like you are home and get to eat something that reminds you of home. I have kids a year younger than  you and they were here for thanksgiving last year but no one but the baby this year so I am not feeling the holiday or like cooking nothing like a displaced southern woman  anyway I am going to make gumbo tommorrow because my teen says she is here and she wants good food. lol happy holidays and maybe you can go home at xmas. Holidays are movable whenever you can go home can become the holiday I hope you feel better.
