I agree with the OP.  Kinky women are more beautiful and desirable in every way than vanilla women...to ME.

And since I don't give a flying ***k what anyone else thinks about the women I'm attracted to, I really haven't ever given the matter a single thought beyond that.

Actually what I find is its split in two. On one hand theres the dumb, horny, wanna try somethign kinky or needs any way to get laid subs, which I wouldn't really call subs... some of which are attractive and just nymphos, but total dumb blondes, and some are just insecure women who may or may not be unattractive, overweight etc.

And then on the other hand, theres the gorgeous, intelligent, well rounded submissives who are confident enough in themselves to give up control.

I disagree that subs are any more beautiful or mentally healthy that vanilla women. I do think generally they are more intelligent, but probably somewhat fucked up more. Matter of fact, that description probably fits all of us here, Doms and subs. Fucked up, but smart. You have to be somewhat different to buck/fuck society.

I must be meeting the wrong subs. I've met far more fucked up women into BDSM than I have vanilla (though I'm assuming those I meet as vanilla are just that and not femsubs). I can't say I have noticed that subs are more intouch with themselves than vanilla women, quite the opposite. I've always found that it is femsubs that leave me bewildered and wondering if men and women speak a different language and not vanilla women. When things have clicked with a femsub it has been a great experience but it seems to me they have far more issues than the average woman.

EDIT Actually most women I know that define themselves as subs and I being rather naive assumed they wanted a dominant partner, issue you with a set of demands. I've never had a vanilla woman whether submissive or dominant in charachter present me with a set of demands on what they expect. My immediate reaction to this is, 'issues!'.

However, even though I don't think that applies to myself, then I do think that there're many that end up submissive 'cause of insecurity and are in need for protection, but then of course there're others that don't....and I do disagree with the statement that sub fems are prettier n healthier n blabla than the vanilla woman, I think the vanilla and sub groups of women contain the same types of women in variety.

My very first post on this forum and I chose quite an interesting topic to respond too ... bravo to the originator of the thread!

Femsubs come in all walks of life and personality, perhaps because the author of this thread has found the sub who suits his needs he is enamored with all femsubs, thereby equating this feeling of satisfaction to all femsubs. I wonder if the author has considered or remembered the subs who did not meet his needs, which in turn caused him to have quite another opinion on this subject??

Any woman/man confident in knowing who they are would be considered attractive,and if not, do they really care?  I don't.

Disagree.  Femsubs are no more beautiful, intelligent or mentally healthy than any other woman.  You may perceive them to have those qualities because you have more in common with them than with average van women.  When reading some of the threads here I sometimes think that femsubs are less all of those things, especially the intelligent part.

I know.  hehe.  Sometimes I wonder if others are not reading the same threads that I am.  Because I see a lot of decision-making that certainly isn't what I would call "intelligent."

I am going to go with.......no. I don't think sub/slave women are any more beautiful, intelligent, or mentally well. I do agree with confidence being very sexy, I do not necessarily see more confidence than the vanilla women either. Granted I spend alot of time in a college town, teeming with beautiful intelligent young women and that may skew my opinion a bit. Talk about sexual confidence.....hang out in the ped-mall downtown Iowa City on a warm night! However I also live in a rural area with an interesting mix. As far as mental wellness, after reading these threads for a few months........nooooooo, I would NOT say MORE mentally stable!![:D]

I really just think that it is a reflection of the world at large.

Personally I think that subs or dom/mes or nillas are more attractive when they exhibit traits we find appealing. I met the most fabulous boy yesterday. He's tall, kind and kinda funny looking. He's so appealing and yummy because of the devotion that comes from inside. He's kind, gentle and willing to be open . First time I've met someone and had them volunteer something like "I always wanted to be poly". All I could do is blink and think gee honey keep rubbing that tender spot and pick my jaw up off the floor while you're at it.
The joy of everyone being different is that there are appealing traits that we zero in on. Some are traditional...pretty face, lots of money, big...brain. Others not so traditional, funny face and a spirit you can feel across a room. I call it the lock and key syndrome. Some people just fit and others no matter how we try just don't.

I think your statement is to general, do you know how many women there are on the planet? ALOT[:)] Yes there are some really beautiful and intelligent femsubs. But it is also true there are many beautiful and intelligent vanilla women and Dominant women.

Also beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. What you may find beautiful may not be so to another person.

I'd disagree to be honest.  I'd say I consider myself cute, but I'd never call myself beautiful.  I'm definitely intelligent and mentally stable.  But I can't say I've seen a huge plethora of female submissives that I'd say fit into most of those categories.  In terms of intelligence, I'd say I've seen it be all over the place although in general in the scene I do find a lot of people that seem to be trying to prove that they are intelligent, which I find a bit ..... interesting. 

But for the most part I tend to see the housewife model for female submissives more than any model of intelligent well adjusted women with full vibrant lives and careers.  For instance, just take a look at the Before Master thread about a month ago:
