siamsa, I agree, although he does have a valid point I personally think it gets lost in how he presents it and reacts to others. In my eyes that is a shame. I do have to ask you. Did you really expect him to respond to your emails?

Ok. I couldnt jump in here until I had a look at the video. Boy! Whoever made it sure made it impossible to stay with. Moved a tad too fast wouldn't you say? And in order to slow it down Im sposed to download all the text? Thats really asking a lot. Couldnt the point have been made that didnt require me to go to the library and research it? And what exactly was the point anyway? That women have been arrested for acts of lawlessness? From what I gleaned, there was a lot of female teachers who slept with male students in that video. Does this make them Evil? Or misguided. I dont know, if I want to go point on point then ok. "Western societies do a great job expressing how evil men are but the other side of the story hardly gets heard." Truthfully as those clips went a long, I was familair with a great deal of those stories. I think maybe its the other way around. That there's ten men who commit crimes and only one gets on TV. There's One woman who commits the same crime and very station carrys it. Its so well, rare! "You see all these statistics that are mostly made by men hating fembots." What stats? I couldnt even read the blurbs under the photos. So I missed any stats. Too fast, too small and too many Large letter words being overlaid. Just be honest assclown. its your video isnt it. You made it. Just be honest and say so.

Male abuse is certainly under reported no doubt because after all the stereotypical male victim is weak. Is a sad thought but is true. As for statistics i like to see how the information was gained what type of test was used to conduct the study and the way the information is processed when gathered. Lots of variables to be considered. Yep and i have a good education too and some folks even say i am bright. There again i doubt that AssClown would consider any woman bright.

A good source for the idea of male/female abuse being somewhat more equal than what you see in the mainstream media is Warren Farrell's Women Can't Hear What Men Don't Say. Farrell was a 3 time board member of the National Organization of Women, and has worked for equality on both sides of the gender gap. He lists tons of notes he used in gathering his information, including a number of feminist studies.

It's not easy for me to say whether i would claim to be a feminist or not. It did seem for at least awhile that mainstream feminists hated men, and i have seen perfectly intelligent woman detect chauvinism in the most innocous of things. However, abuse is abuse, evil is evil, and it matters not who is charged...to me, if they are guilty, they should do time. My thanks to E/everyone who turned this into a somewhat lucid discussion. candystripper

I'm all in favor of equality for everyone. So, I'm not really a feminist or a chauvanist. But, there will never really be true equality, since the English language itself is sexist towards women.

And on subject topic ::sigh:: i had an ex who swore his ex was massively abusive. She'd pick fights and rip him a new A hole with some of the things she did. Plus she was psycho and like stalked him. It wasnt something he told many ppl and he was often thought of "as" the abuser because in the process of these "arguements" he'd end up defending himself. Unfortunetly it IS hard for guys to stand up and say "hey this girl is beating me up" - makes them look unmanly and/or people might flip it around on them. Like with my ex. Its difficult for guys.. really difficult - totally unfair. But then - generally speaking men have more strength then women so its not a wonder why its hard to believe sometimes.
