Judging by your previous posts you're reasonably intelligent and these few, simple questions should pose no challenge to your ability to reply.

John

and yet.. they do...

but then again..maybe she feels threatened by your post?? [:D]

LaTigresse -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/4/2006 8:01:24 AM)

Somehow I doubt those questions will get answered.

oh yeah... another very related question to this thread... when you scratch your butt... does your fingers smell too?

i would think not if you washed your ass on a daily basis.....

if you look at in a logical light..........  ones ass would smell from what comes out of it....

when you wash de smelly area.. it no longer smells....... hence itching no smelly area.. should result in no smelly fingers......

Your ass itches from sitting on it too long.......... OR because you havent washed it lately..... (hence the smell)

as for your other questions......... sorry cant help there.  I took biology not......

my own question - why does it sound strange to say "i have a pussy purring on my pussy?"  or "i have a furry pussy on my lap?"

*waves goodbye to 45 minutes*

All I really have to say is WTH?
I really really wish I wouldn't have tried to read through all of this..My head hurts...

crouchingtigress -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/4/2006 8:42:56 AM)

pixie...a good rule of thumb is if a thread goes past 5 pages it mostlikly has de-evolved and and is now but a malignant mutation of its former self....

and if you intend on "going in" be sure to don some raingear 'cause you will inevitably come out urine soaked, from all the pissing contests you have unwittingly subjected yourself to...

Thanks for giving me the idea~

speednut -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/4/2006 2:33:20 PM)

The International Core, Um sounds a lot like the religous right wing, another group of "non-conformist" judgementally minded ego boasting people that can tell me just how screwed up my simple existance is.

Protocols? What the hell is this, people, remember 25 years ago there was no internet, only small closed groups that helped others and formed small societies or clubs with rules for safety and discretion.

The net and all it's related sites are just that, grow up, reach some level of intellectual maturity and act responsible for your own actions.

As for mentoring, there are many in the lifestyle that only need be asked for advice, most fully welcome in aiding those getting into the lifestyle and work hard to offfer practical advice and protection from those that prey on these sites.

If you know Me, you may know that I reach many people. I am extremely controversial and outspoken.  I personally mentor over 100 individuals, both on and offline.

Over 100 people currently being mentored?  Unless that number refers to members of a mailng list, or people at a workshop, the claim seems a little .... well, it seems to suggest little time would be left for anything else.

MrrPete -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/5/2006 2:52:52 AM)

I read a few posts when this thread started and replied.
Then the topic kind of got under my skin and simmered
there until now. I didn't catch up on the posts since then
so if this has been said before.......

I disagree with the OP.In my opinion no website has any
resopnsibility to it's users for personal safety. That belongs
to the individuals.

The OP has a personal vendetta against these sites and
that's her right but no one can protect you when you choose
to act irresponsibly like diving head first into shallow water
without checking the depth first.

YOUR safety is YOUR responsibility. Period. End of story.

Just going back to the Original Post, couple of things that concern me.
First this idea of "quardians"....who are they? where are they? why are they so "secret". I've been a member of alt.com, and have issues with it yes, I've also been a member of this site, and many others. I've been aroudn this scene for some years, and have never heard of the international core. Sites like Collarme, and the few other sites run by those in the scene rather than commercial organisations tend to have a community of regulars who look after the newbies and each others interests. Do we need the "international core" and anonymous guardians to protect us ? I wonder.

As for the rant about Alt.com. I totally agree with everything said, but from a different perspective. When you join ANY site, you are in joining accepting the way it runs. IF you visit Alt.com , as a guest, it lets you do very little without joining and paying, but it does let you do enough to see what you're getting. When you join, you can cancel at any time if you don't like the site. But to argue about how the site operates because you don't like it is I think a little naieve. Any commercial site is likely to ban a member who actively criticises it or hijacks users to other sites. This is not an issue about the lifestyle or bdsm, but a commercial issue. They exist to make money. they do that by getting and keeping members. They are succesfful, because many members do make contacts via their sites, including Alt. (I have in the past made some great contacts via alt). but they are a commercial company that wants to make as much money as it can...So if you join a site like alt, you expect that.

Collarme is a completely different type of site. It is non commercial, and run by and for people in the scene. ITs "commercial" goal I expect is to meet costs, so it hosts adverts. But it also allows its memebrs to talk about others sites... as it should.

You'll find similar comparisms in otehr areas of the adult online world, and also in the non adult world to. its business v community.... you pays the money and makes yoru choice.

so to the OP... I welcome you here, as a memebr of Collarme. I welcome your posts on the message boards, and your input to any discussions. But please do not preach to us. Share your views and opinions by all means, but respect this site and its members for what they are....and if there are any International Core "guardians" out there.. HI....why not say hi to us to!

Rover, that is secret info not given out to newbies.

Not to quarrel with you, but if it's secret information why is it mentioned in such a public forum?  That's not a very good way to keep a secret, but it is a good way to (seemingly) make one's self appear important and carefully craft an online reputation.

And while I may appear to be young and innocent, most folks would not consider it fair or accurate to characterize me as a "newbie".

You state in your profile that you're a "teacher".  I consider myself a fairly competent student that's ready and willing to learn.  So perhaps you might consider dispensing with the online posturing, and actually teach me something of value.

John

MY COMMENT WAS MADE IN JEST.  I REPLIED THAT WAY BECAUSE I DID NOT THINK HE HAD A VERY OPEN MIND.  MY IMPRESSION WAS MOST HERE ARE INTO ONE LINERS TO GET ONE UP ON ANOTHER.  NOT SERRIUS INQUIRIES.

USUALLY I DIRECT PEOPLE TO WARREN'S BOOK "THE LOVING DOMINANT"  MOST OF THE INFO WE GIVE OUT IS BASIC SAFTEY INFO LIKE WHAT YOU FIND IN MANY PLACES HERE.  WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT US THAN MOST OTHER SOURCES IS WE LOOK FOR  PEOPLE IN NEED.

MOST OF THE GUARDIANS ARE SUBMISIVE FEMALES OVER FORTY WITH SEVERAL YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE LIFESTYLE, WELL ABOVE AVERAGE IN INTELIGENCE AND SUCCESSFUL CAREERS.

DsGUARDIAN -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/21/2006 1:32:21 PM)

mrrpete,

I LIKE YOUR HAT AND BEARD.

AT ALT YOU DO NOT GET BANNED FOR RAPE, KNOWINGLY SPREADING VD, STALKING OR CALLING SOME ONE'S EMPLOYER OR SOCIAL WORKER AND TELLING THEM LIES BECAUSE YOUR ADVANCES WERE TURNED DOWN.  BUT YOU DO GET BANNED FOR WARNING ANOTHER PERSON THERE ABOUT THE PERSON.

Sirandlittle1 -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/21/2006 1:33:10 PM)

Im glad, that people feel the need to rescue and save others. Their motivations are kind, though rarely altruistic.

What i find shocking, is that incredulousness, and disdain are felt at a business that has been created to make money, when it does so? Isnt that the whole point of sites such as Alt?
It may not deliver all of its promises. It wouldnt be the first business not to. IT clearly states you may not post regarding other sites when you join. It gave you a list of its 'rules' when you joined, and now your winging coz its upholding them. Are you a tad naive perhaps?

D/s must be accompanied by love? Who says? Core says? Well, personally, if id had to wait for 'love' to come along before i could get my bdsm needs met, my cunt would of healed over by then.

There are victims in all walks of life, not just this one. Just as there appears to be an ability for predators to flourish on sites such as these, some of the posts i read beg belief in peoples recklessness regarding their own safety. Some people are just plain stupid. They must take responsibility themselves, for the fates that befall them.

Whilst i applaud you in your christian efforts to protect us, Cor is a choice for us to make. Alt is another. I met my life partner on Alt. Money expended by either of us to do so? NOWT.
Each to their own.

TIC STARTED LATE FEB. 2006 AND HAS BEEN ON ALT SINCE THEN.  IT HAS MANY MEMBERS THERE AND SEVERAL GROUPS.  YOU CAN VIEW THEM ALL AS A FREE STANDARD MEMBER.  OR YOU CAN SEARCH FOR THEM BY NAME AND VIEW THEM .  THERE IS NOTHING SECRET ABOUT IT.  ONE GROUP IS submisive to submisive ANOTHER IS  DOORWAY TO D/s DOMINATION ~Cc.  ITS VALUES ARE WIDESPREAD IN THE LIFESTYLE.

DsGUARDIAN -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/21/2006 2:06:45 PM)

SIR AND LIL ONE, [THAT IS A FAMILIAR  HANDLE].

SO YOU AND OTHERS HERE ARE AGAINST ALL EDUCATIONAL AND MENTORING EFFORTS IN D/s? YOU THINK THOSE WHO WRITE BOOKS ON THE LIFESTYLE HAVE NO RIGHT TO?  DO YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT EVERYONE IN THE ASK A MASTER OR ASK A SUB GROUP?

ModeratorEleven -> RE: The Other BDSM Personals Sites (12/21/2006 2:09:30 PM)

Please stop posting in ALL CAPS.  Thanks.
