Top-o-page repeat:

OK, I will not duck it, but you ain't gonna like it....gonna take you a very long time to decipher this, maybe the mayan calendar will run out before you get this, so I will have a brew of catnip tea as you go at it. presidents and all that is surely related, but I am looking for a more specific relation, as I drink my tea of CATNIP

Chester A. Arthur
Grover Cleveland
Benjamin Harrison
Grover Cleveland

----------------------

Favorite beverage was catnip tea?  Wait!  That's the clue that was repeated twice..... There are TWO clues..... Has to be the "long time" thingie, or maybe the 2 years until 2012..... No time to research length of term of office.... running outta time - MUST go to work.   ARRGH....

I'm confused as to why Grover Cleveland is listed twice in the quartet. Aughh. Or am I missing something???

no....he had two terms not consecutively and these guys I think were listed in the order they were president in (dunno, again sort of central to the plot, but no answer found in their actual presidency)

a razor sharp mind like mine will be needed to scrape out this simple answer.

I'm going with that they were all insomniacs.

Edited because my damned quotes were off.

it isn't as easy as the tea, this link extends and revises my remarks regarding catnip.

I got nothing. I'm out of it. Way too esoteric for me at this point. I'll be keeping an eye out for the answer though regardless. LOL

They're four Presidents, in order, who served between two assasinated Presidents, James Garfield and William McKinley.

I haven't figured out how catnip or Scarborough Fair enters into the equation yet, but those four presidents are going to be on the $1 presidential coins that will be released in 2012....the year the Mayan Calendar ends.

edited to add....Ron, your mind is fucking scary. From the U.S. MINT.....which is an herb....as is catnip, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme!

catnip is a member of the mint family as is rosemary, sage, thyme (parsley is not a member of the mint family)....check it out!!!! anything with a square stem is a mint, easily discernable.

Isaac Newton was Master (then Warden of the royal mint as was W.W. Pole), and the big thing he did was to flute the edge of money to prevent scraping for precious metals and getting more out of it than face value.

2012 is when the mayan calendar ends.....

You are correct windchymes!!! All yours!!!!

I confess.  I googled the four words to find the MAJOR SUTURES OF THE SKULL TUTORIAL located at:

http://www.getbodysmart.com/ap/skeletalsystem/skeleton/axial/skull/addtionalfeatures/sutures/tutorial.html

I did this only because I got a hot one in my pocket and it's burning a hole! LOL!

Thank you.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison
Great Sand Dunes
Mesa Verde
Estes Park (Common name.  If I give official name, it will solve this UNIQUE quartet)

In 33 minutes, we have a winner (intenze) who beats 2nd place (SDFemDom4cuck) by 10 minutes.

DAMN!  That didn't stand for long, did it?  I had this clever clue (at least I thought it was clever.) It was going to be: This quartet can be solved by concentrating on the who, what, and where of the quartet and this hint.

intenze, take it away!
