LOL, too close for comfort.

They no longer appear at the treasury printing plant, they have been discontinued.

post another far afield from this.

In retrospect, not entirely true, Madison has been seriously deflated.

Well, done Raechard!

They're titles of homilies taken from the Church of England's second Book of Homilies, as set forth in the 39 Articles of Religion adopted by the CoE's bishops in the 1500s.

Your turn to post a quartet.

They're letters that can be flipped both horizontally and vertically, yet still look the same?

The British Library
The University Library, Cambridge
The Library of Trinity College, Dublin
Bodleian Library, Oxford

I know they are all libraries but that isn’t the answer.

I’ve checked this question for Googability.

They are located on islands in the North Sea =D

I was going to say all on British Isles, but Trinity is in a Republic now and not really a British Isle.

Do they all have copies of Ye Domesday Book or maybe a Gutenburg Bible?

They're the four items on the Theseus list of British libraries and archives.

That appears to mean that they have material on the history of science.

Not the Answer I was looking for.

They are all Legal Deposit Libraries and as such any works published in the UK must be issued to these Libraries at no cost to the libraries.

http://www.england-legislation.hmso.gov.uk/acts/acts2003/ukpga_20030028_en_1

Your answer will do I suppose dc

Oh dear. That means I need to come up with something.

New Quartet:

January 1, 1985
January 1, 1991
January 1, 2002
January 1, 2008

What do these New Year's Days have in common?
