Howdy,
Just thought I'd throw out an interesting topic. I being a cowboy can technically write about this, and no I'm not trying to toot my own horn.
My Question Is why do Women like cowboys so much? I honestly don't understand it. For example whenever me and Amanda have alil fun She makes me wear my cowboy hat all the dang time, I don't mind it because it makes her happy, but let's analyis the situation. Alright a cowboy in nature tends to be somewhat of a loner, ussually, very stuborn, at least where i'm from. We don't make much money, we don't exactly smell the best. Alot of us don't have the best education, most of the other cowboys i know only have a high school ed, some not even that. I'm being the exception to that. So we got the wranglers and know how to handle a horse, and probably a bull whip better than most Mistresses, no offense, you can kill me later if you take offense to that hahahaha. We stink like cow shit and let me tell you that is a hard smell to get out of cloths. Alot of us drink way to much. Alot of us smoke as well, 6 weeks cold turkey here yyeeahhaa, stay away from the reds hahaha. We like to fight alot, bar fights included. So why the heck do Women like us. For example my friend Roger has a different girl every damn week, and they ain't bad lookin. Oh yeah forgot to mention grammar. Well anyway please voice your opinion maybe you'll tell me otherwise.

I think the cowboy lifestyle has always been portrayed as very rugged yet romantic, especially on TV. We used to raise quarterhorses and a few head of cattle, and Hubby showed in cow-cutting events. I always loved the atmoshpere around the rodeos, cow-cutting events and horse shows we attended. I'm sure true (grrr there's that word again) cowboys would call us "dudes". We used to help a rancher friend of ours heard his cattle when he had to move them in the open range areas of WA. I always loved Hubby dressed in his jeans, western shirt, Stetson, boots and fancy buckle. I miss that part of our lives. If you put a picture on your profile i suggest you wear your hat.

Same reason women love bikers....it's that bad boy thing. Even though we sometimes know they will not be good for us, we can't help but be drawn to the danger and excitement of a man who lives on the edge a bit.

born & raised in Miami, so my only experience with cowboys would be strictly on screen....i've always found them sexy tho,.... the ruggedness (sp?) they're so manly and rough, plus they have experience taming wild beasts, don't they?

Sorry . . . can't help you. I have always been a big Indian fan.

There's something about taunt tanned skin, half dressed in leather and that long black hair that does it for me.

Take care,

I see no fascination to them myself. No uniformed men. No biker's or indian's either.

Tall and muscular, yes. Doug is 6'6 and used to play football. Yet I've never been attracted to football player's either.

This joke was in an email i got this morning:

SEX WITH A COWBOY
(First, you've got to know about Skoal to appreciate this one. For you
non-Texans, it's chaw and the container for this snuff is very large,
flat and round, and the cowboy carries it in his back Jean pocket.)
> > Now, back to the story:
Prior to her trip to Texas, Muffy (a New Yorker) confided to her
sorority sisters she had three goals for her trip to the Lone Star
State. She wanted to taste some real Texas Bar-B-Que, take in a bonafide
rodeo, and have sex with a real cowboy. Upon her return, her sorority
sisters were curious as to how she fared. "Let me tell you, they have a
tree down there called a Mesquite and when they slow cook that brisket
over that Mesquite, it's oh so good. The taste is unbelievable!" "And, I
went to a real rodeo...Talk about athletes! Those guys wrestle full
grown bulls! They ride horses at a full gallop then jump off the horses
and grab the bulls by the horns and throw them to the ground! It is just
incredible!"
They then asked, "Well tell us, did you have sex with a real cowboy?"
"Are you kidding? Once I saw the outline of the condom they carry in the
back pocket of their jeans, I changed my mind!"

The hat, the howdy mamm, the you know he's a working man. The have Boots, a rope, a pocket kife, a whip, and a pair of tight wrangler jeans. Plus most know how to dance. Most cowboys like going out, camping, fishing, drinking, and aren't that hard to please when you know how to cook and like having lots of sex.

Sure I"m not big into the whole cowboy country look and I don't like Country Music but I'm still a Texan who grew up on the farm and I know a thing or two from the experience.

First of all, cowboy hats are damn sexy. Dunno why, but they are. Wranglers=tight butts being hugged by well worn jeans. They know how to handle rope. From my experience cowboys are raised with manners and take care of their women. Something infinitely sexy about a man that holds doors, chairs, says Yes Ma'am, etc. Maybe i'm too southern for my own good.
They're strong and romantic and stubborn and take control. They won't be pushed around. But they know how to treat a lady and make her feel like a princess. That is why for me cowboys are sexy.

I thought they were great until I learned how to ride a horse and realized that too many of them don't know how to ride. They stay on. Now I take everyone as an individual and judge them on their own merit. There are good cowboys and bad. Good doms and bad. Good subs and bad... and on and on.

I think it's a mix of wanting to save you from yourselves, and taming of the wild beast... We feel like if we can do it, you are our pussycats for life... Rarely works, or the wild never comes out of the man, but some women sure like the challenge... Than there is the potential for strong/wild sex with big strong men...

I used to buy into all the above... Nowadays, unless the cowboy/studdmuffin can impress me that he's learned something I should stand/listen/learn, I probably wouldn't ever be caught with one... M
