1. i have made an extra effort to be clear in my communication.

2. i avoid making a sceen in public.

3. back of my mind- i remind myself- am i right- or am i LEGALLY right.

I've haven't changed anything. I think it's how you say things not what you say. I've made robbery jokes in a bank, before. No problems, because it was a joke. I asked about bombs at the airport when checking in. No problems, because it was obviously a joke.

Anyway, I think most things that would get you in trouble today would have gotten you in trouble back then. In my experience it's how you say it not what you say.

So, no, I still mention the obviously inappropriate, in joking way. I don't think I can avoid mentioning the obvious big elephant in the room. I find blurting that out, immensely funny and ironicly most people do.

Yes, along with my views and opinions, my speech has moderated and become more diplomatic and inviting of other opinions. Hence, my different manner of communicating has changed the dynamic of it altogether - creating more of an interactive process allowing for exchange, instead of incessantly engaging in diatribes and monologs.
