Has anyone else been added to someone's Admirer List and have wondered why in the world they added you to their list?

I've had one Domme who is no longer looking add me, I've had one half a country away add me, but only wants local subs, and then there is one who only wants female subs add me.

To top it off, none of them ever even sent an email.  From their profiles, I'm not even what they are looking for, so why add me to their list?

Just doesn't make any sense ...

they are probably using you to point out to their icky mailers what should be on a profile of proclivity?  How the fuck should we know?

I did not initially realize that adding someone to my favorites list would be something that they could see and have since removed all profiles I had listed there for later review and revisitation.

Maybe either 1) they did not get a chance yet to revisit your profile or 2) you are just such a hottie that they cannot refrain from looking at your pic!?

I don't know, I think people use it as a bookmark then forget it's there. I have dommes on their(not a sub here), that I've never spoken to, and I remember one was from half way around the planet. Anyway, I put no value on the fact someone is in the list. It could be anything.

Cuz they want to?  Does it really matter?

They saw your profile, saw something that interested them enough to bookmark them and then moved on. 

You can look at their profile and do the same if you wish.

Why don't you mail some of them and ask them?  That way we all have some sort of answers.  A lot of people have me on their list....never spoken to any of them.

I have a long list of people showing in my list - I didnt add any of them, so I guess they are volunteering for it. Which is really odd on one hand, and on the other really annoying 'cause they're all in the US.

One name I dont notice there though, is TGD himself.

What's up with that?

I don't email without permission, nor do I add to favorites without permission - not only would it seem bad form for a sub to do such things, but it's not very gentlemanly or respectful either.

From some of the posts I've seen - the W/women on this site have received more than their fair share of troll-mail to last them several lifetimes.

So don't feel bad, I have no one on my favorites list and I haven't emailed anyone that hasn't emailed me first, Domme or sub.

I like it, too.  I figure maybe they're too far away and know it, or for whatever reason they admire me, but it just isn't possible for a relationship.  So enjoy your admirer list!  I, for one, consider it great fun to watch it grow.

mnottertail...ya just crack me up on all your posts...i so enjoy reading the stuff all y'all write....
ive got a few admirers..but have spoken to maybe two of them..ive added only four on my list~all for various ideas they have written in their profiles..points of reference for me that i find that i want in a Dominant...if i could roll em all up in one..well, He'd be wonderful!
ive learned alot from reading and re-reading their profiles..stuff about the "lifestyle" is really new to me and well, they seem sane and more or less like the same things i do..i didnt add them for their looks but for their words..
i have NO CLUE why im on so many....

i'm on a few lists, and have a few on mine.  i've added to my own either because we're corresponding and it's a good shortcut to their profile, or i find something inspirational, touching. educating, or just plain funny..lol..

i've tried to use the blocked feature when someone became overwhelming or just icky, but i'm nosy enough to want to know what they might be saying..lol.
