Ok, I like reading everyones' post I really do "BUT" I think sometimes we need to be reminded that people actually do READ the post. What am I getting at? Can we please make our post a little easier to read? Can we make sure that our long post have paragraphs and our font is readable? I realize that when typing it is easier to just keep typing BUT it is very difficult to read post without paragraph separation, punctuations and a readable font size and color. I know it is just not me but please keep others in mind when posting.

Just a suggestion.

I know i'm guilty of getting a little long-winded nad going on and on in my posts. I'll try breaking them up and just getting to the point from now on. thanks for the advice.

Thank you for posting that DiamondDiva.

I would like to add that when starting a new thread please put the actual topic or at least a keyword, in the subject line, it will make searching for the thread later a lot easier. Thanks all.

How about if the topic is into its 10th page that we start a new thread.. I hate scrolling through year old posts, or 7 pages of comments that are god knows how old to get to the current information. I wish they were in reverse order personally.

i agree.... i have gotten to the point where i just block people who seem to use their posts as a form of artistic expression, or those who seem, for some reason, to be unable to spell a majority of words in the English language. It seems i can't be the only one, i have to wonder how many other people just skip over whatever these posters have to say.

Count me in that statistic. While I'm not a fan of Conformity, I am an advocate of Civility, and common sense. If this was a forum dedicated to Art then perhaps it would be appriciated more, but I'm with you. If I have to constantly adjust my eyes and screen to read it, I don't waste my time in doing so.

You can click on the page number in the topic posting below the "subject" line and it will take you directly to that page, instead of scrolling thru page after page... Just a thought. Also you can do this at the top and bottom of each page. Another thing you can do is to click on the little page syumbol beside the last posting persons name to the far right of the topic.

Hope this helps you.

it's sad...but the English language has taken a severe beating in recent years...from the internet abbreviations like 4 U R (though i must admit, i've been known to use words like gotta and gonna, for a little NY flavor) to the street language that has become so pervasive in society (didn't there used to be a time and a place for such things)...somehow the language has been bastardized to the nth degree...almost makes one want to sing, O' Canada!

It's never an issue for me. When someone doesn't use complete sentances, or at least passably understandable english, I just ignore the posts. As an ESL teacher, I spend all day trying to decipher broken english, I'll be darned if I spend my free time doing it!
