Do you agree with this or not?

Thoughts?

The first study to look at the direct effect of videogames on teen brains documents functional differences between violent and nonviolent play.

Just wondering as the season for buying is upon us.

I have grown up looking at gore genre's films ( since11 with my older sister). None of us has never had the urge to kill, rape or commit any violent things. I think that when you are a well-balanced people (i think i am) those kind of subjects dont turn you in a sanguinary monster. I can be wrong i'm not a scientist.

On the other hands i will never ever buy this kind of game to my nieces untill they reach the age of understanding the idea of good and bad.and the consequences of some behaviour.

I grew up watching "Faces Of Death" and other very violent/ disturbing movies...I also, grew up in a low income area where there was alot of drug addiction, crime, etc and I turned out to be a normal person (somewhat anyhow) Yes, I had a coke addiction for a few years but that had nothing to do with where I grew up...I "chose" to experiment as many do...I don't think video games are the cause of our problems....it's lack of good parenting.

One does not need to be a scientist to make an observation as you did. I am glad you never did have the urge. ;)
