LOL.

mnottertail -> RE: odd one out? (12/17/2006 3:18:13 PM)

Susan is not a character in It's a Wonderful Life?

jblack -> RE: odd one out? (12/18/2006 1:28:16 AM)

Aw, shucks, I have no idea. All I can come up with is that "swallow hard" may not be a sign of hypothermia while the others would fall into that category, if one assumes that one is afraid when nearly freezing to death. Hints, please!

ShreveportMaster -> RE: odd one out? (12/18/2006 3:24:33 PM)

close, actually susan is a character in it's a wonderful life (zuzu) Mr.Potter is the only character in it's a wonderful life who's name was not given to a Seasame Street character.

dcnovice -> RE: odd one out? (12/21/2006 8:12:22 PM)

Lupin
Lockhart
Umbridge
Binns

Lorelei115 -> RE: odd one out? (12/21/2006 10:09:53 PM)

Binns is the only Professor that did not teach Defence against the Dark Arts.

dcnovice -> RE: odd one out? (12/21/2006 10:17:52 PM)

Ten points to Ravenclaw (I'm guessing that's Lorelei's house since its emblem is a bird)!

Your turn.

Lorelei115 -> RE: odd one out? (12/21/2006 10:28:58 PM)

Heh heh.. Ravenclaw, yup, that's me. [:D]

Of course if I was so smart I'd have one of these ready already, wouldn't I? But as usual I'm caught unprepared. Sooo an easy one.

The Ball
The Crackers
Your Pants
A Hint

I think "The Crackers" is the only one you wouldn't precede with "Drop."

In case I'm right:

Arctic Circle
Equator
International Date Line
Tropic of Capricorn

International Date Line is Longitude the others are Latitude

SDFemDom4cuck -> RE: odd one out? (12/22/2006 12:09:55 AM)

Forgot to post a quartet...
Cocytus
Phlegethon
Tantalus
Lethe

Edited for a misspelling

Oh! That is so clever!

Let's see if my answer styx:

Tantalus, because he was merely immersed in water. The others are all mythological waters, rivers actually.

Well Done!

I'm reading some classics again during winter break. Since you got it right you get to post a new quartet.

Petruchio -> RE: odd one out? (12/22/2006 12:46:01 PM)

Stand by. I have one in mind, but I must take care of business first.

dcnovice -> RE: odd one out? (12/27/2006 8:16:12 PM)
