I like the day itself, I hate the commercialism that surrounds it. I also hate when people buy me expensive gifts, because I am poor and make my own. They're like "Here, I bought you a 300 dollar peice of technology" and I'm like "Here, I made you a cookie."

Outlaw it. I don't buy presents for anyone, which is likewise reciprocated. If you'd like to get me a Christmas present, Jack Daniels, a carton of Winstons, or a long, slow blowjob will do just fine; otherwise, just leave it alone.

I love everything about Christmas...the cold, the short days and long nights, the songs, the twinkling, colorful lights all over town, the warm fuzzy feeling when you come home and the house smells like a christmas tree and cinnamon candles. Christmas eve with family eating all sorts of sweets and playing poker. Christmas day seeing the unmentionables' faces light up when they see the pile of presents under the tree. Wrapping paper flying through the living room and giggles of joy as they see their new toys. What's to dislike. Christmas is the best!

I work retail... so aside from the OT I hate Christmas. I see so little of the happy parts and just the frenzied need to buy things, the short tempers and the complete lack of respect. People are nasty, we hav been decorated since well before Thanksgiving and it wears on us well before we get to the actual holiday. DV
