Hi everyone, I am new here, having just found the site from my Mistress, and i figured this would be the best place to pose a very important to me and my Mistress. Is there any way to get rid of the horrible taste that a brand new dildo has on it? i have tired soaking it in hot water for a few hours, washing it repeatedly but nothing seems to do the trick. i would appreciate any help on this matter because while i love sucking on my Mistress's strap-on, it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. oh btw, we always make sure to have a condom on then when we play analy. in service always, Dana's princess julie

What material is it made of? i believe silicone can be run through the dishwasher- this should do a pretty thorough job of removing the mold release or whatever it is that causes the taste. ...dave

The way I understand it is most modern vibrators ect. are made of a material that is government regulated in most of Europe as "unsafe for food products" This is because the material leaches chemicals as it ages and this is pretty much what you taste. The chemicals found in Jellies for instant is known to leach out of the product over time and has been linked to cancer especially breast cancer. This is why you should allways put a condum over it no mater what.

a paste of baking soda and water rubbed gently on it, then rinsed off has worked for me.

There is a product called "Good Head" which is made specifically to get rid of the bad taste of condoms and should work for the dildo. Available at most toy stores.

buy silicone toys, they are well worth the few extra dollars. virtually taste and odor free, and they can indeed be run through the dishwasher, even boiled.

hmmm silicone, havent seen one o fthose yet, ill have to keep looking. but to answer the previous question, i dont remember the brand of plug it was, but its a large blue and white one. and i absolutly love it. its a little long, cause when i sit down on a hard surface it presses against what i think is my prostate kinda hard and it hurts a little but, but if i squirm around it takes the prsssure off.

I remember we used to soak gum guards in coke for a few minutes before playing rugby. May be worth trying something simialr. wouldn't leave it too long as coke is incredibly corrosive stuff!

Try rubbing alcohol and then some soap and water.

My first ball gag was awful tasting then mistress took it off the strap and soaked it in a bit of mint extract mixed with water and it worked really well. After being in the play bag a while it absorbed the taste of the leather when the mint wore off and that was just fine with me too !
