How Do You Change Your Avatar? (Full Version)

Based on another thread topic here, I decided I really Do want to change my avatar. I am NOT Liv Tyler (hehe). I do remember three people thought I was Liv Tyler, apparently based on my avatar (I guess). While I am not un-attractive (I suppose),  I bear absolutely No Resemblence to Liv Tyler. Sorry for any confusion this caused anyone.

I forget how to post an avatar in one's profile. I've been away for about 2 months, and can't seem to find the avatars here on this site.
Can anyone tell me where they are and how to do this? I would appreciate it a lot.

There seems to be a palce called "My Account", but there is nothing there to change or anything. All it lists is my e-mail address. Maybe this is because I just re-wrote my profile just a half hour ago, I don't know.

But I forget how to reach the avatars....if it's here under "MY Account", maybe I need to check back in an hour or so or a few...if the avatars are located else where though, will someone let me know, please?

Upper right.  Just under BDSM Discussion Forums.  Click on "My Profile."  Scroll halfway down the page.  Just before the orange line, click on the "select avatar" button.

Collarme and collarchat are two different things. 

If you want to change something about your collarchat account, go to the discussion forums and click on "My profile"

If you want to change something about your collarme account, go to the site and click on "My account."

Thanks, ownedgirlie. I broke up with my Dom (who wasn't, really. I thought we were going to be just good friends. Apparently, we have a misunderstanidng over what the term "Poly" means...but won't go into whiny detail here just now, it's a long, and probably boring tale). But - he didn't want me to be on here, so I stopped being on here. I missed it a lot, though. I need people contact in this BDSM world, and appreciated the discussions, and liked the folks on here.

From the Message Boards, click on 'My Profile' in upper right.

From there, you should see two largish bits separated by the orange separator bar.

Just above the orange bar is a 'My Avatar' selection.  There should be a button next to 'Click to choose avatars'.  There should be three or more pages of them.

For anyone who is wondering: I am NOT Audrey Hepburn!

I suppose this changing my avatar solves nothing, since I picked another person's photo. But - for the record....I am NOT Audrey Hepburn - and I just don' wanna be Stimpy, or a Faerie, or a doggie, etc. Sorry to whoever this upsets...BUT - I am not trying to pass  myself off as Audrey Hepburn....

Well popeye...it's a long and boring story. I am still selling my house (and renovating it). I am considering going back to school. I am currently in the middle of my annual Christmas fudge and cookie baking frenzy. This year, I am making 50 pounds of pecan-chocolate fudge and 48 dozen varied Christmas cookies.

I also got talked into reviving a bdsm relationship with someone, which  I am very sorry I did (I left them. And believe me - they deserved it. But I really don't want to talk about it. I will sometime, but via private e-mail, if anyone really wants to know about that part).

I apologize for leaving this site so suddenly. I wasn't a personal thing with anyone. The person I was seeing didn't want me on this site, so I agreed to not be here. At the time, it didn't seem like a huge sacrifice to make, but I really missed being here.   

Hope you've been doing okay. Happy Holidays (early).

Hopefully you learned a lesson from this. Issolation & cutting you off from acquaintances is typically a red flag. I know you have expressed that you don't wish to go into it here... this I respect. Yet in the smidgen you offered can you see that it looks as though this recent encounter was doomed from the start.

Glad to have you back & it will take time to not associate you with your previous forum image.

Is this your new avatar or just a temporary one?

Honestly I think you're a bit of a dork from all this.  After months of advice from this whole board that constantly told you that someone trying to cut you off from contact with people, or take you away from the things that make you happy is not a good thing- you just go and do it.

Makes me wonder if it's worthwhile to give you advice at all.
