That is a very good point. I have 7 years in Kenpo and found that moving from that to Kendo was very natural and watched others struggle learning the basic movements and stances. It may have just been my experience though. I may have just done my struggling when I was little and don't remember it [:D]

Definitely not easy, but I loved it. You get STRONG. The speed swimming club used to have an annual swim-a-thon to raise money and our synchro club used to participate. Now, these were the "racers", and every one of us "silly water ballet" folks (that how they referred to us) used to blow them away over the course of 250 laps of the 25m pool (or 2 hours, which ever came first). It used to piss them off to no end. *grin*

i too, love the Olympics...but go figure...i was rather enjoying the Women's Beach Volleyball...i wonder why????? LOL
