They happen. More when we have been separated for a long while, I notice, because the mind is the only thing connecting us, and there is a more frenzied state of thinking up new ways to keep one another interested until we are face to face again.

Interesting article. It resonated with me, from the point of view of separating from a long term relationship. I am going through the frenzied state of withdrawal symptoms and obsessive thoughts of the past relationship.

Thank goodness I am way past the point where I would be trying to recapture those frenzied, adrenaline fused feelings with others. I am simply trying to remain sane and grounded by myself.

But I wish there was a way to stop the frenzy of need and desire when the object of that desire is no longer with you.

LotusSong thank you so very much for posting this. I truly thought, until now, that I was alone in this feeling of almost anguish brought on by my need to serve and do more and more. I very honestly cried after reading this! Thank you soooo very much for the eye opening information!

This is great. I definitely went through all of these feeling and still do someitmes when I really want a scene. I also have to say that for my Dom that at first they really overwhelmed him and he was mad because he thought that I was really just all about me. I thank you for giving me info to show him so we can work through these times together. I have had the hardest time trying to explain to him what goes through my head.
