With the help and advice of the members of this message board, I went and had my first experience with the lifestyle recently when I went to see a Pro Domme. Now that the first one is out of the way, my question for those that see Pros, how often do you visit? Obviously, money is perhaps the biggest factor in the time table, but I was wondering what people thought in general.

I do plan on getting involved with the local scene soon, but I imagine it will take some time to meet someone that way.

In the beginning stages or exploring pro sessions are good and as mention, it’s a form of entertainment. You go as often as you need to or can afford. You could also try phone sessions. I use this as a tool in-between someone coming to see me. It’s very effective if done right and more affordable.
But the ultimate is a relationship. Nothing compared to this.

I'm not so sure about the phone sessions. Over the years, I tried it a number of times with a number of different Dommes. It's very fun, but I think it pales in comparison to the real time session I had. I was never able to do it with much regualirty, although I did do it often enough that I got to know two Dommes in particular quite well. Maybe I would have found it more effective if I did it more frequently and built up more of relationship with one of the Dommes. Or maybe I didn't meet the right one. It is less expensive, true, but I feel like I got a little more value for my entertainment dollar with real session.

I'm definately ultimately looking for a relationship, but from what I understand, it's not uncommon for a sub male to look for a couple of years before finding a partner. If that's the case, I think it's good to have an outlet in the mean time.

Don't forget to also get involved in any local BDSM groups, munches, dungeons, anything you can to meet fellow kinksters and possible play partners as you explore your kink. Great to see a ProDomme, but also fun to meet lifestyle people along the way.
