My husband and I are both dominants, though in the house I tend to have the final say. I'm a stay at home mother so we agree that basically it's my house to do with as I please. The times we have had submissives they have always come from outside. When the sub's were with the one of us they weren't collared to they still had to adhere to their rules etc etc. It's always worked pretty well for us.
I'm lucky in the respect that he's also a sadist, which works perfectly for my being masochistic. We do play together, but D/s is always left to others not us. We tried it for awhile but it caused too many problems.
