Status: offline 		 My pets always ask what I do in sessions with my other pets. Is this some sort of kink that I haven't heard of yet? I tell them to never mind my other pets. Also what is going on with the subs who want long distance Mistresses? What fun is that?

My partners love that I am so excited and get a vicarious thrill from knowing what they are doing with others- it's also a great insight to more of who they are and what's going on in their heads at the moment.

Whether their requests are coming from an insecure need to feel included or a genuine interest in what's going on in your life only they can say.

But I love sharing stories of exploits!

Status: offline 		Ok, I have to say that I really thought this was about the furry four footed pets...and I was all ready to share my story about the cat who liked to watch me have sex. I loved him, but it WAS kinda creepy. LOL

As for the actual question: intent is what defines this activity as positive or negative. I've asked lovers to share what they liked and didn't like about their other partners, both as a way to share in their experience and to get ideas. You do have to be careful, though, and not let it turn into a "I can beat that!" scenario.

So, let me tell you about this past weekend.....;-)

I always ask Master about his other girls. If he does not want to tell me, he doesn't; and if he does not want me asking he would have said so in the very beginning.

Status: offline 		Fairly natural curiosity likely based on trying to remain secure in their possition.
If what you do with ABand C pets is on par with what you do with him he knows he is secure.
There may well be other reasons as well but the root I would say lies with maintaining security

Me too! My cat watches Master and me. But Master thinks it's funny and cute, and my cat is my baby, so it's allowed and we don't really find it that creepy...cats have kinks, too, eh? My cat's kink is voyeurism.

As far as the topic at hand, if You've told them not to ask, then they shouldn't, but maybe ask them why they want to know. Maybe they just want to know what interests You might have that You don't think they'd go for, and so those are activities for another pet?

i like to know about Master's former partners, because it gives more insight into who He is, what He has done, and what He liked and didn't like in the others (and if it's things that i can avoid, like pet peeves [no pun intended], then i would like to know about it).

Its about the same as being cuckolded and wanting to hear the stories afterwards.  Part of it is the vicarious thrill of what you had done.  They can imagine themselves in the situations, and enjoy hearing about it.  The other part might be partly humiliation, knowing that they werent the ones you wanted to come to for whatever activity you were engaging in.

For Angel and I, long distance is a stepping stone... he wanted a Mistress who was a good fit no matter WHERE they were.  It wont be forever (about 4 more weeks... not that I am counting) But if you do it right, it is a hel of a lot of fun *grin*

Status: offline 		I think these kinds of questions are perfectly appropriate. Part of it, as noted, is  they want to make sure they are "keeping up"; that they are not being "outsubbed". A little bit of this could be a good thing (keep them on their toes) although too much can be annoying to the dom and demoralizing to the sub. The dom should limit such questions (and the answers) as he/she sees fit.
Having said that, in a fully healthy relationship there is also a component of "shared happiness" that makes this  a VERY good thing; a true grokking together to the benefit of both people.

Status: offline 		I prefer to keep what I do with people private, as an intimate experience I'd rather not tell others about. I hope my toys appreciate my ability to keep that to themselves.
However if it was done at a play party, or some semi-public place, then it's not a big deal.
I understand asking; I hope they also understand my not answering.

It's not so much the watching part that creeps me out, it's the sitting there watching and licking their lips that squicks me.

Only thing creepier is dog head on the bed watching. Though I did have the teacup dog humping the boy's foot once. I guess he wanted to participate. LOL

"downline".   i never ask specifics about Masters wife/sub, because she and i have very different roles, it's like the apple asking about the orange.  Also, to me, her happiness is His happiness, which is in turn my happiness, so keeping my eyes on my own paper is easy.

i do ask about other bottoms He plays with because .. i just need occasional reassurance they get bottom play, not slave treatment. 

i admit i know i don't have a right to those assurances, but i love the fact that He chooses to give them.  Being assured of my position keeps me operating from a position of security which actually reduces my wild imaginings, rather than feeding them.
