I don't believe I said that a submissive couldn't serve more then one dominant. On the contrary, I think it can and does happen, and I see no problem with it.

My situation is not quite like that of the M/F dom/domme couple that redmistndark served, but it's a little similar. Two very dominant alpha males own me jointly; i serve them both equally as their slave. And it's working, oh boy is it working. And yes, i can easily imagine a threesome like this being just a twosome in the making, just waiting for one alpha wolf to kill and eat the other one or chase him off into the woods, but i think (hope!) i'm stuck with these two wolves for life. (Or until they decide to eat me...)

It works because of who they are, and i suppose a little because of who i am. They don't have any issues to work out between them, they worked those all out when they were kids. (They're like blood-brothers.) They are human (well, they're superhuman to me), they do disagree, all the time in fact, but their rule is they govern me by consensus when they're together, whoever has me alone is in sole charge of me, and any order from one that i obey in good faith will be honored by the other. They did decide that one of them will be my "senior managing partner," but they much prefer working me as a team. That is, they're the team, i'm the field the team is plowing...

The biggest danger for a slave serving two masters/mistresses is probably, i think, that of becoming a pawn in a power struggle. In my case there's no power struggle, and i think my role to some extent is just to be a medium that allows them to become closer and more open and intimate with each other in every possible way; i'm just part of their connection with each other. And that's all i need to be to be happy serving them. It sounds as if the couple redmistndark was serving had lost their own connection and were using their slave to torment each other. And her too. Sounds like a terrible lost opportunity for all concerned.

No problem. My comments were actually in reference to Kinkypupper's comments. I posted before you on this thread, actually - though I agree with what you said in the thread, that there are very few truely poly households.
